Unfortunately, the nuclear industry relies on viewing the earth as a static environment to avoid meltdown. One earthquake caused Fukushima, as the Earth is actually a dynamic environment, Who Knew? Thorium..

I saw it from AmTrak and looked it up. I saw many unfavorable reviews by people who were further away than I was. I noticed that the only emissions entering the atmosphere from this ultra-clean facility were water molecules. Very cool! Compared to the insane volume of radioactivity and various forms of toxic waste generated by coal-fired power plants daily, I find that an immense improvement. I also see that more deaths are caused each year by coal and alternative "clean" energy sources each year than by plants like this one.

I would definitely live near this plant and fish in the water around it.

Very unfriendly service, especially when they found me looking at all of the cool gadgets. Would not recommend. Also, the finger I used to touch one of the gadgets deteriorated after a while. :(

Norway, Albania, Paraguay, and Iceland get nearly 100% of their electricity from renewable sources, but heck, that's only about 15 million people. 😏
Let's safely close Indian Point because one "oops" or disaster can make the tri-state area just a memory. Many in the Hudson Valley area probably cringe when they hear sirens go off in the area, especially at night.
As far as the positive reviews, most are probably from the plant workers or close family of them. Yeah, losing your job would suck, but losing your health/life from a nuclear disaster is a bit worse - no?

This is an amazing place. It will be a very sad day if it's ever closed. Full of professionals. Proud to have been there.

This place must be shut down and dismantled. On the Hudson River, so close to New York city, in a densely populated area, outdated technology. Risks outweighs the rewards.

Very safe, worked there for 20+ years. The workers identify everything and anything. I see the reports and read them everyday. Problem will now be replacing the power with clean non foreign electricity.
