  Impressive place. Real equipment and real fires. Very nice buildings. Large location.

  This is a multi-building complex.
  
  All use the same parking lot, and there are handicap parking spaces near each. No cost for parking.
  
  There is an official bus stop about a block away. The building is hidden and easy to get lost the first time, but even easier to find once you've been there. Keep going.
  
  Some have doors that are accessible and some do not, same with the bathrooms, depends on the building.
  
  The multi floor building, has an elevator, and other accessible needs. The large meeting room is movie theater style, and is a good area for an event of that type.
  
  Most all rooms have some sort of multi media.
  
  In most buildings, the rooms can be changed to fit to size. Highly adaptable.
  
  The staff is friendly and helpful.
  
  Since this is a working area, it's not uncommon to see people in various fire gear, but everyone inside the buildings are still polite, but outside expect the people to be in training.
  
  Any scenerio could happen.
  
  Bring your own food and drink if you plan to stay for any length of time, a cooler in the back is a great way to store anything.
  
  Some buildings do have vending machines. Check with your specific program.
  
  It's a great spot for almost any event and would highly recommend it.

  The Fire Service Institute is a great location to have meetings for groups that have an emergency purpose.

  My daughters and I were part of a homeschooling group that had scheduled to tour this facility. It was a great experience!! Very informative and educational. Thank you for this incredible opportunity and for being such an integral part of the firefighter community.

  I have had the pleasure of taking several classes taught by the highly skilled IFSI instructors. IFSI offers very practical real world training for firefighters that otherwise may not be available in rural areas.
