I have had the same experience as many of the other people who have written poor reviews. I went in trusting that this company was reliable and that these treatments had to be successful since they offered the "lifetime warranty". I made the financial sacrifice thinking that it would save me money in the long run. However it did quite the opposite. Not only do I have to pay $120 for any additional treatment (since it wasn't successful in permanently removing the hair) but my 0% financing promotion ran out with $8 still left on my balance so they charged me an additional $530 because I had not paid my balance of in full. I spoke with customer service they agreed and sympathized but told me there was nothing they could do and that I should just be glad I actually paid off the $530 so it didn't continue to collect interest.
1 star is for move to Westport from the Plaza. This was clearly not thought out. The new spot has flooded one and had to close already. I had an appointment today during a Midwest onslaught and had to dash to office from across the street parking. Drenched and sad faced. 😤. The Plaza location was perfect with the parking garage so no matter the weather I wouldn't have to contemplate rescheduling. Plus I have several areas serviced and use numbing cream prior which includes covering with saran wrap, a Lil odd looking. Put didn't matter the Plaza location was discreet....leave my garage, arrive at Plaza location and park in garage, walk to elevator, go to floor, elevator door opens door to Ideal Image right there. A nice discreet oasis. 5 stars for service and results.☺
I had a good experience here. Everyone who worked there was very nice and helpful.
The staff have always been very professional and courteous, I had hair removal done here. I ended up paying extra by going with them because they told me I would have a lifetime warranty. After my initial treatment plan was complete, I was informed that any spot treatments of the area would cost an extra $120 per visit. I'm not sure if Ideal Image knows exactly what a lifetime warranty is vs. a limited lifetime warranty but I'll never use them again and will not be recommending them to others.
I've been going to the Ideal Image on the Plaza for about 3 years now. I just saw some of the other reviews that are down right mean and untrue. My experience with Brandon has been very professional and he always tries to offer packages to save me money. I have Botox and filler done there and I save money when I purchase several treatments in advance, rather than one at a time. I really appreciate that. I used to go to Monarch Plastic Surgery for my treatments and I was never offered the option to purchase multiple treatments for a discount. I am saving hundreds of dollars over what I used to pay.
I also love the fact that Ideal Image only uses licensed RN's at their office. Every treatment is professionally done, just like in a hospital. The nurses actually seem to care about me as a customer and are always concerned about making the treatments as pain free as possible. I can't say that I look forward to having needles poked into my face every 3 months, (who would?) but I have enjoyed all of the nurses, especially Ashley. It's so much nicer than the last 2 places that I've had the same treatments done.
This company needs to change their policy. They will set you up to pay for treatments you don't even receive, even after you cancel with them. Makes no sense, they're literally stealing money from people for not performing a service. Brandon is definitely a con artist, his bonus check must be outrageous for doing nothing. Terrible customer service and stuck up people that work here, so annoying.
DONT DO IT
I was going to the closest location to my house where I paid for the life time guarantee I was told any time I grew hair after my 12 treatments I could come in for free and they would zap those hairs. She said most women regrow hair when going through menopause.
In the middle of my 12 treatments I guess after they figured out it doesn't work. They moved me to a different location further away from my house in which they had me sign paperwork all over again. I was thinking if you're going to transfer me to another location transfer my paperwork and If you can go to any location all you should have to sign is a consent form right.
So after my 12 treatments all of the hair grew back I go to get it treated and she says it's going to cost $40 each time the hair comes back. I guess in all that new paperwork they put a sheet in there saying I agreed to pay $40 which doesn't make sense when I paid extra for the life time guarantee package right.
So needless to say I will not give my money to a company that use trickery on there clients. SO NOW I'M BACK TO SHAVING ALL THE HAIR THEY ZAPPED 13 TIMES she did the 13th one for free after we argued about my life time guarantee that all of a sudden disappeared from the paperwork I know I signed and paid extra for.
African American facial hair.
Brandon is definitely a con artist.
I went in for my free consultation and when I left I had somehow been looped into this irreversible agreement. It was completely my fault for not putting my foot down, but I was under the impression that I could cancel at any time, etc. etc.
I got one treatment done and came to the conclusion that this was not in my budget and called to cancel. After three weeks of trying to get ahold of this brandon character, he finally calls me back.
I am paying 3700 dollars in total for the package and brandon said that in order for me to cancel I would have to pay 1000 dollars for the one treatment that I had already had.
I felt obliged to just finish out with my treatments as the 1000 one time treatment cost put me in a pickle morally.
All in all, I really like the results of my treatments and would recommend laser hair removal, but I would just make sure you do your research, read the contracts and have all of your finances in line so you don't crack under the pressure only thinking about the smooth skin that is to come in the future.
