It was terribly disappointing. I was looking for sushi with no rice but creative rolls maybe wrapped in cucumber and gluten free. I don't think that's too much to ask. They didn't have anything and pointed to the one appetizer with no rice but made with ponzu sauce which has gluten. If course I could have ordered sashimi but that's boring. They didn't seem flexible to help. So I left and went across the parking lot to Sushinami and it was delicious! Amazing service at the competition!

Great service, funny chefs and very entertaining. Excellent fresh food and the meats were 5*. Will definitely be back for seconds :)

I've come here many times for different occasions. I don't know if management has changed since my last visit but this one was nothing like any of the times I have been before. They wanted to add an additional upcharge for extra onions $2.00. Had it been an extra $.70 I would not even be writing this review but the logic behind charging someone and extra $2.00 is robbing people blind. I will not be returning here in the future. Super sad because this one one of my favorite places since moving to Atlanta!! The management team has to be such cowards they couldn't even come out to speak with us because they just "started a meeting" very very very poor customer service if you ask me.

If you're a true hibachi fan, I'll advise not to visit this place. The Chef "Lazyboy" was so lazy to the point that he didn't even clean his work station. All the food smelt and tasted like burnt residue from the last item he cooked. To add to that, he was flinging all the food in the plates. The rice was little, added noodles which we didn't order, it was just a disaster. I thought he was joking when he came out and introduced himself as Lazyboy because his boss says he's lazy.
However the Sushi was excellent though so that kinda made my night a bit better.response / report this review -

I like this place!! I went here for a work related lunch. The food was DELICIOUS!! The chef was great and friendly. I enjoyed the experience!

This is an odd story, but the staff was very awesome. Just as food hit the table my 2 year old son got sick. The staff was nice, my wife went back to the hotel with the kids and I finished dinner with family. The food was on point service quickly cleaned up the mess and did not make a big deal about it.

Incredible. I loved every second at this restaurant. My favorite sushi place in Alpharetta. The food, our server, and the ambiance were awesome. Prepare for a long wait time-it's worth it.

We've eaten here three times in the last few months. For a Japanese steakhouse, it has a surprisingly trendy feel inside. The food and the chefs have been outstanding, and the owner/manager always comes by at least once to make sure you're group is satisfied. We will continue to come back.

Let me start by saying that I have been at this restaurant more than dozen times. The food quality is excellent. However, this time we had an idiot chef who is unable to recognize how many people he is cooking for and didn't have common sense how to distribute the food fairly and based on the actual orders!!! God helps you if you are sharing the grill seating with others as the chef will start giving your food away based on age NOT based on order! My daughters and my wife have full order, the most expensive on the menu but because my wife is setting at the edge, it really felt that she was getting the leftovers or the remaining food that no one wants! To have 6 vegetables (including the onions) by count when you have ordered filet and chicken is something the restaurant should be ashamed of! Horrible portions all night long! Management should pay attention to make sure people are getting their FAIR SHARE based on their ORDERS. Idiot chef! If I am able to give this chef ZERO ratings, I would of!
