Had been here couple of times. The place is nice, but I expected more in regards to medical recommendations and assessments. A nice bonus is you can sign up online and see your records, communicate with your PCP, and pay bills in one place.

The practice at N. Senate is a shithole. The so-called doctors are the absolute pits, most unprofessional and care nothing about the patients. They will lie, lie, lie out their teeth, assuming you are stupid and will buy into anything they tell you. They would lie about the time of day. "DR" Reuben Hernandez must have gotten his "degree" from the back of a match book. What a fraud. Last July I was suffering from sciatica. My right leg was bent backward and would not straighten due to the pain. "Dr." Ferguson, the "chief of the practice" told me it was all in my head and I should see a psychiatrist. This bunch of clowns apparently believe that you will buy anything they say, and patients are so dumb because they are on Medicaid. How cruel. No one practicing there should be given a medical license.

I have been going to IU Family Medicine for almost 8 years and I couldn't be more pleased with my treatment. I have a doctor I see regularly, but I have seen other IU doctors as well and they have all been great. I can't speak for the quality of walk-ins. I think that's more of a walk-in clinic sort of thing (and good luck with those folks). But if you are looking for a fine family doctor, you would be hard-pressed to do better.

I was in Indy for just one night on business. Evidentally, I got into some poison ivy or something similar a few days prior doing yard work, and "erupted" during my day in Indy. The CVS pharmacist across the street, who is truly a most outstanding and caring person, said I really needed to see a doctor, and suggested I go to this office as they are "really good with walk-ins" Despite being fully insured and needing maybe 10 minutes for a doctor to write a prescription, and despite only a couple of people waiting, the receptionist would not let me see a doctor. When I told her that "you know darn well you could get me in for 10 minutes if you wanted to," see would only say that "it's Friday afternoon, I won't do that to the doctors!" Some much for people in their time of need!! Most disgusted I have been in years, thankfully my doctor from home called in the right prescriptions!! Thanks IU Health Physicians for absolutely NOTHING!!
