Came here for my birthday and got a taste of heaven! You'll need to take pictures of the cozy and elegant design of this high end restaurant, before you finish your steak.

I came here for downtown restaurant week and really enjoyed the 3 course meal of Caesar salad, Filet Mignon, and Cheesecake. Not sure if it would have been worth it if it was regular menu pricing, but the food was delicious! The atmosphere seemed very old school though.

They hosted a business event where I had an opportunity to speak. The staff was quick to assist with any need, and the ambiance from the early 1900's building was warm and inviting. The food was amazing. Greatly appreciated them hosting!

Our server was phenomenal and the experience was really nice. The lobster was also the best we've had outside of Maine. However, when it comes down to it, a steak place has to have really great steak (particularly at this price point). My wife got filet and I got ribeye. Both were good, but neither were excellent. Comparing to other local steakhouses, I'd rate Hyde's steaks well below XO and a bit behind Red.

Excellent service and food downtown. Hyde Park and Morton's are right next door to each other. I would recommend Hyde Park as your first choice.
