I was very surprised with my visit here. The lobby was very nice and clean and smelled good. Reception on point and professional. The room itself was nice. Smaller. The bathroom was almost too small for my liking. But I loved the shower. The bed was comfy. And everything looked well maintained and newer. No microwave. There was a couch which was nice.

A fantastic value. Spotless, huge and nicely appointed rooms. A very happy and friendly staff. All that with a quick and free breakfast that had enough hot and cold and healthy choices to satisfy any morning appetite. Kudos!

I had a wonderful stay in this place. The staff was super accomodating and nice and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was amazing and had some convenient healthy options as well. I would definitely stay here again. 5 stars!

    WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Tonight I decided to stay at Hyatt after reading excellent reviews online only Because I was on the road and made the last minute decision to rest since I've been on the road all day. I didn't have time to make a reservation but that should never be an issue. My mother and I were greeted by the front desk assistant and were told he would be right with us. We sat and waited about 10 minutes because his bar guests were clearly more important. Once finally helped, he asked if we made a reservation and seemed very ticked off as if it was inconvenient. He then proceeded to tell us he will check in the couple behind us because they had reservations and for us to sit down and he will be will us again. As if we weren't waiting there for 10-15 minutes....
He told us there were no rooms Available.
My mother and I began to gather our stuff and head out for another hotel, when another front desk agent asked if we needed help. She helped us within 2 minutes and there ended up being a room available.
I have never feel such disrespect in my life and I Do not suggest you stay with this Hyatt.

The place is nice and cozy. I don't like the wall units. At 70 degrees, the room felt wet? The room was nice, however. Aaron was manning the desk by himself and killing it. Really good guy. I didn't get a chance to eat the breakfast, but Starbucks service was nice.

Warning: You are Note safe/Do Not Stay
I do not post negative reviews but please read:
My truck’s locks were drilled out and everything stolen from my truck in the hotel parking lot. During my police report, the officer said “wow someone took their time here, how did the hotel not catch this?”
When asked for video surveillance, the claimed to not have video surveillance. However there are more than 10 signs posted stating “WARNING All activities are recorded on video to aid in the prosecution of any crime committed against this facility. The manager claimed, “We just put those signs up because other hotels do.” - Big lie
After filing a claim with the Hyatt’s insurance company, the Hyatt claimed they are in no way responsible for the incidents. I have several thousands of dollars’ worth of theft and damage to my vehicle. I wasted hours fighting with the Hyatt and got nothing, not ever reimbursement for my stay.
They hotel has since post signed saying “we are not responsible for theft, weather damage….” Very wrong!
I gave the hotel many chances to make this right. They were not interested.

DO NOT STAY HERE. You and your belongings are NOT SAFE!!

Super clean hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is easy to find from the road, and is very close to the highway and shops and restaurants. The continental breakfast was perfect, and you even had the choice of yogurt and oatmeal. 10/10 would stay here again.

Very nice digs. Friendly staff and everything is clean. Spacious rooms are a plus as well. It happens to be a poke stop, too, if that does anything for you. Would stay again.

The room was very cool and spacious with a contemporary feel. The free breakfast was good, considering it was free. The staff made too much noise in the hallway in the early morning though.

The Hyatt at Charlotte/Arrowood offers a full bar and room service, and very large rooms. Obviously catering to a business crowd, the Hyatt is comfortable and offers a large number of amenities. Overall, this is a fairly luxurious hotel with lots of space to socialize and relax after a business event.

First, I would like to say that the front desk staff members do an outstanding job. Lucy, is an angel. It meant the world to me that she helped my grandma make her tea. I know grandma CAN do it herself, but we encourage her to let us help her. For anyone that looks after someone who has needs, the little things mean the world to people who take care of them. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.

However, Hyatt needs to supply this particular hotel with additional front end people. It is not fair for the staff to deal with so many people (especially at night), as well as making guest wait for periods of time with out being helped. Bottom line is that more evening staff members would be helpful to this location.

There was some confusion or miscommunication about the room I had booked. I booked a two bed room, and what I received was a one bed room with a pull out couch. The other rooms were not available due to cleaning service being understaffed. Truth be told, I was not stoked to sleep on the floor on Friday for $140 a night. However, we were able to move rooms on Saturday.

Hyatt! Spend the money and supply your staff team!

Hotel policy's are a "hit and miss". What I mean is that you may not be charged for a particular policy one stay, but be charged for it another time.

There is apparently a $30 "damage fee" to cover any hotel property if ruined. I was not charged this fee before, so it was a surprise when it showed up on the bill. However, the kind desk manager, Joel, was able to remove it.

This is my second time at this hotel, and both times I had my dog. The first time I was not charged $75 (even after offering to put proof of rabies vaccine on file). For the record, the dog is well behaved. When I asked the manager (name?) about it, he simply told me that it was policy. I told the manager I understood, but if there if a policy, follow through with it at all times. He removed it, but honestly, the money didn't matter. It is more important that I can be informed. I was frustrated. I felt like I was being "dismissed' from the conversation by having the charge dropped. I want to be informed so I am prepared for the charge on my bill.

Bottom line, if you have a policy, follow through with it at all times. Inconsistency kills a business. I do not like to be surprised with 'fees" I was not informed of, nor charged for during my previous stay at this particular hotel.

I don't get to see my family as often as I like since I took a job in Florida, so these trips are special to us. I chose Hyatt because it is a higher end type of hotel that has been recommended by close friends. I chose this particular location due to other customer reviews. My first visit compared to my last visit was night and day.

When I left, I felt like we were an inconvenience to the hotel. I am a client who like to 'have it together" as far as reservations and what to expect. I set this trip up for my family, and I feel like I failed them.

It was good to see old friends and family during my visit, but the hotel was not a nice stay.

Stayed here for one night recently with family for a soccer tournament. My biggest problem with this particular location was the overflowing garbage cans outside (which I told them about several times) and the laundry/cleanup carts that were around in the halls when we arrived (after 6pm). In general, they seemed to have a problem with the cleaning staff. But our room was clean, so that is good. This is your typical Hyatt Place, so if you are familiar with the brand and layout, you know what to expect. The lobby is a bit small and was cramped at breakfast, but they opened up a conference room so that was helpful. This hotel in particular has a very small area around the elevators (which are in the hallways right behind the front desk, also used for access to/from the lobby and other rooms). This was definitely a problem during high traffic times, you had to constantly move out of the way while waiting for the elevators. Very poor layout in my opinion. Otherwise, the rooms are exactly as you would expect for a Hyatt Place, so if you like the layout it will be the same. I really like the sitting area, it's quite large and has a big L-shaped sofa and a separate desk. Really nice! The only thing I don't like about these rooms is the "open" bathroom area. The sink is basically in the bedroom so it's very hard to get ready for bed or get up early and get ready (like brushing your teeth) without disturbing anyone else who might be sleeping. But if everyone gets up and goes to bed at the same time, no problem.
Negatives: Small lobby and breakfast area (cramped if busy), overflowing trash cans outside, a lot of laundry/cleaning carts in hallways, very cramped elevator location.
Positives: Large rooms, new, modern, room was clean and quiet.
