Clean place with showers and game room and wi fi. The showers are a short bike ride from the campground. Reasonable and we'll kept
Immaculate campground. Free, dry firewood stacked at each site. Very friendly owner. Clean, hot showers about a 1/4-mile from camp sites. Stayed overnight on second day out of Pittsburgh on the Great Allegheny Passage on the way to Washington D.C.. Will be riding GAP again in 2018, riding from Cumberland, MD to Pittsburgh and will be overnighting here again at the end of the first day. VERY limited cell service (AT&T) but it made my stay that much more peaceful. BEWARE - lots of train activity all night long - bring ear plugs! :-)
Fantastic Campsite, Lots of Amenities, firewood and showers for a great price - Not for light sleepers (train nearby)
We stayed in the house (cabin). It was very clean and beds were comfy. We were able to have a beer and play some pool to unwind and relax after a long day of riding the GAP. We would definitely stay here again.
great campground especially for tents. Many extras. Right next to the GAP path. Free campfire wood included. Free wifi at the office.
This place is a real gem. The owners have put together a very comfortable place and figured out a good system for giving guests what they need. I could have easily spent a couple of nights here.
Passed by this campground during our bike tour on the Great Allegheny Passage Trail.
The proprietor was very kind and helpful as we arrived on bikes; he immediately offered water for us since we had been biking all day. The campsite itself was nice with easy access to the river, plenty of area for tents, and a huge pavilion. The trees provided a nice shade, and the large fire ring was very useful at night.
Very friendly, clean, right next to the trail and they offer plenty of firewood free at each site. The lounge and showers are awesome. This is the best site I've stayed at.
Beautiful campground, spacious sites, they provide firewood. Owners are very nice will bring you water to your site. Only drawback is shower is on the other side of river but hot water and clean. They have a hose for bike cleaning. Will stay again.
Loved camping here. Beautiful spots, some covered by pavilion. Unlimited firewood at each site. Beware the trains that come all night and that all services other than portapoties are about a mile away across the bridge and into town.
