Pretty nice, large mall to be in Huntington, I stopped to eat at the food court and to hit the massage chairs. Food court could have had better choices. The massage chairs were aimed right at the food court so your fat shakes for everyone walking by, pretty awkward but it was worth it. Not a lot of traffic and pretty good selections of stores.
I am not a huge mall shopper. With that said, I almost always respond to a sale ad from say the Sunday paper to a specific mall store that advertises a product I'm interested in purchasing. I go, get the item, and leave the mall! I do believe the Huntington Mall offers a wide variety of stores and merchandise, and so I hardly recommend to those people that like to brouse, or do their shopping in one place in a controlled atmosphere with numerous options, even social ones the businesses at the mall.
Very nice mall for West Virginia. It has a lot of parking and a good selection of stores both inside the mall and outside surrounding it. It does need some more security, more restrooms and a better food court.. other than that, shopping-wise it's pretty solid!
Love shopping here. You can ride a train and see what's going on with all the shops in the mall, like sales, so you don't miss a deal that you may not have been aware of when you arrived. Don't have to pay to park. It's clean and family oriented. They consistanly have family events.
Probably the best hot dog place I have ever seen. At first glance you'll think I don't really want to eat here. However you would be sadly mistaken rated as one of the cleanest restaurants in the tri-state area the junkyard look is just part of the appeal of this place. Great food great people true enjoyment. It is definitely a must-see.
Never seen so many rude people in one place. Constantly talking through the movie and playing on their cell phone. The movie is rated R WHY ARE THESE YOUNG KIDS IN HERE ?????
Nice place to shop for a couple of hours but no unique stores. We didn't spend any money there because we have most of the same stores locally so there wasn't a need for impulse buys.
I'm from Houston TX and there are not enough stores here and the mall is on the small side to me. Certain stores are hard to shop in because they are super small and crowded with people so people are always trying to get around you or you're trying to get around them And it's a big mess. Nothing's really caught my eye either and most stores tend to run out of limited edition items quickly because they'll only have like 3 in stock. Missing stores like Urban Outfitters, Ambercrombie , American Apparel , etc.
Seems to be the place to go for the area. Difficult traffic pattern makes it crazy to get from one outside location to another. Locals know their way. Drivers always seemed very courteous to me as a drive but not as a pedestrian. Google maps navigation for leaving and heading to Charleston needs lots of work because of traffic pattern and barricades.
Great mall with good management that keeps fresh and current stores! Free parking is a major plus as welljust remember where you parked. Food court isn't what it once was.
Great mall. It has a bunch of stores to cater to your needs. The food is also pretty good.
I've always really enjoyed how convenient this mall is. Access from the interstate is simple and quick. There is a variety of restaurants in and around the mall.
Everything is always pretty clean, has decent places to eat in the food court, and has some of my favorite stores. To name a few, Spencer's, Hot Topic, Lane Bryant, BAM!, Bath and Body and one of the newer additionsTORRID! Overall a pretty nice place with a nice (but pricey) selection for plus-size people such as myself.
I was not able to go through the entire mall but was very impressed with the amount and quality of stores inside. The outside of the mall, however, was very plain and didn't look very inviting but once inside it was very charming. The stores I did visit had very friendly staff. One downfall I believe is that they only have strollers that can be rented at one entrance to the mall, which just happened to be the opposite side of the mall that I entered on, maybe having a few rentable strollers at all of the mall entrances would be better.
Traffic pattern coming in and going out needs completely rethought, especially coming out. You have to cross other traffic lanes coming the opposite way and they have to cross you with nothing indicating right of way. And it all must be done very quickly to get to the Wal-Mart area or get to interstate. The shops are standard every mall shops. Mostly clean. Food court has a nice openness to it.
