I was taken aback a little by the outward appearance. They are undergoing renovations. The rooms which had been updated were nice and comfortable although there was a slight stuffy scent upon entering the room. A washcloth and towel each had a small mark/smudge on them. When I called the front desk someone came immediately with a fresh clean set. Overall I was pleased with our stay. The staff was friendly and responsive.

Rooms were brand new. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Outside appearance was not so nice but under construction. I know why this hotel was rated best. It lived up to our expectations dispute the construction.

Just remodeled room and it had a great bathroom. The room had a slight smell. Staff was great. Breakfast was so so but that is because they are remodeling the first floor.

Great remodeled rooms! Very clean and nice comfortable beds. I would give it 5 stars for a better breakfast. Food was super minimal. It may just be because of the remodel period though, I'm not sure. Good stay though over all.

Very nice modern looking hotel inside. The rooms have fancy looking doors and showers. Equipped with a closet, mini fridge, flat screen TV, and coffee maker. Bed was very comfortable also.

Recently renovated spotless rooms that are beautiful and a great value. Easy access to highway. Walking distance to a few restraunts. Friendly staff. Best place we've stayed on the road.

This used to be a Choice Hotel, Sleep Inn. It's now Huntersville Inn & Suites. Newly renovated rooms with big bathrooms. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was okay and they had one of the machines that makes coffee which is always nice. Plenty of parking and restaurants in walking distance, nice location.

This is a pretty basic hotel, but it was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. The hotel is being renovated, and those designing the rooms should have to stay in one! There are several small annoying things: The room is dark! There is one light between the beds that is about the brightness of a night light -- not bright enough for reading -- and a desk lamp. The bathroom has only one hook for hanging up a towel. The shower has no shelf of any kind for soap, shampoo, etc. There is no wastebasket in the bathroom. The closet is equipped with only 2 hangers. The bed pillows are small and square. On the plus side, the room has a microwave and small fridge, and the beds are comfy. There are many accessible outlets handy for charging electronic devices, and the free Wi-Fi was fast.
