I have seen nothing but positive results in my daughter's skin. I'm pleased they wanted to look at topical options first, rather than immediately going for ingested medications. I've never had to wait long once I arrived and everyone I've dealt with was very friendly.

A word for the wise; they don't have a doctor at Hudson Derm for you to see. At least, that is what I was repeatedly told by the reception after some absurd diagnoses (and unecessary scarring) by the NP's there. Although I was misdiagnosed first with multiple spider bites that miraculously all occurred at once almost as if spiders hang about in gangs and attack en masse. Yeah, no, a quick google search confirmed the probability of one spider bite was very low and most 'spider bites' are in fact other misdiagnosed skin issues. The possibility of a group biting you all at once was ridiculously low, or nil, but people do get struck by lightening, so never say never. I thought I had made an appointment with a doctor, so I ask to see the doctor next time. That's when I find out that, oh. There isn't one. He comes in once a week just to, you know... But he doesn't take appointments.

So next time I'm booked in with another NP that I am assured is wonderful. This guy really did not want to contradict what the last NP had said, and it was impossible to reason with him. He was certain it was insects too, an 'infestation'. He saw three spots that looked kind of in a row on my back without barely looking at my neck which was absolutely covered in blisters, and proclaimed we had bedbugs for sure. The fact that I'd only been 'bitten' twice, with two months between 'bites', and my husband hasn't suffered a single itch or dot wouldn't sway him from his reasoning. Of course, it was absurd, and I retreated from this insane place feeling disgusted.

The next time the rash came I spent five days in hospital and finally got a diagnosis. It was so bad and covered so much body it was crazy. The doctors and PA's/NP's scoffed at the lack of help I'd had at Hudson Derm and especially the diagnoses. I don't mind seeing a PA or NP, but it's illegal for their diagnoses to not be overseen by a treating physician. I know that there is no way the doctor that comes in once a week could possibly oversee every case that comes in thoroughly and from my experience, it was amateurville time with the NP's. I mean if google can easily prove that what the medical professional has told me is rubbish, and I also know it's bogus, yet they still don't listen because they have a chip on their shoulder about not being 'real doctors'? Get outta there and find a doctor, or find an experienced NP who is being properly mentored and overseen by a physician. Your life may depend upon it.

I arrived 15 minutes late for my son's appt. I was prepared to reschedule , but then I was told NP Carr would see me.
What they did not tell me was that I would be waiting over I hour and still not be seen.
When I asked reception why did you not tell me that would be the case- therefore I would have left and rescheduled all I received was an apology. Guess my time does not matter.

I will be going to a new dermatologist.
All they had to do was tell me I was going to wait so long.
I was late ,so i would have understood.
NP K. Carr did not communicate.

The Dr I seen did absolutely nothing for my skin / face, basically told me there's nothing I can do for my skin. Which is now getting worse and I'm still looking for another Dr months later.
