Love house of Hunan! Their food is delicious. I usually order to go so I was very surprised last time I ate in and they had updated the dining room it looks nice and I like the new dinnerware. Also, if you read other reviews some people think that you can't make Chinese food if you are not Chinese. That is ignorant and I personally don't care what ethnicity you are ,you can cook anything as long as you know the recipe!

House of Hunan has got to be one of my favorite restaurants in Marion! If you're looking for a welcoming establishment and good food, this is the place to go! Prices are especially good if you get there before dinner time. Not once have I had anything wrong with my food (dine-in OR take-out), and the staff are very courteous. If you haven't eaten here, try it!

As always, service excellent and timely. Food prepared exactly as I requested. It was delicious. And I saw several good friends dining there also. Reasonable prices and good sized portions.

Been coming here over 8 years. Great service is expected and received most visits. Everything on the menu is excellent, but maybe not the same as at other places.

Egg drop soup and potstickers are great; garlic chicken is also very good. Less crowded at lunch and on days other than Sunday.

The hot and sour soup was too peppery (no red pepper flakes).. the Mongolian beef had no flavor. the water was good. Over staffed. I would suggest cutting down on staff and using that expense to put into the quality of the food.

How I have missed this place! Thank God the General Tso's hasn't changed a bit. Perfect chicken, perfectly cooked, perfectly spicy, perfect service and perfect price for lunch. What more can you ask for. That's what makes this a Marion tradition.

Food was tasteless, the "beef" was like chewing on a slimy piece of rubber. When I sent it back asking for a different order, the waitress acted like it wasn't reasonable that I was sending it back because the food tasted and smelled bad then felt the need to come back and say that the chef "was not happy that I sent it back" and wanted me to pay for the sent back meal. I will never return and advise anyone else to spend their money elsewhere

Delicious and genuine Chinese food - for more than 30 years! Right on the edge of town as you head South. The service is very friendly, and there is always a good crowd (but rarely a wait for a table). Good prices as well.
