This is a beautiful church with charm. It is over 150 years old and stunning! Walking in the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It has a true family feel to it. The people are always excited to see us with open arms and warm hugs. The Pastor is hilarious. The building is always full of smiles and laughter. Even though a majority of the crowd is 45-65 there are few younger families that attend regularly with small children. This is a very kid friendly church. The members are patient when tired children get a little restless. They are happy to help in anyway to entertain, hold or play with the children. I LOVE the toy/coloring bags they have for children to help the quietly stay entertained during service.
There is a one room Sunday School Service for kids of all ages with a snack & Juice provided. The parents can either drop off or they can stay to have coffee or tea with the other members. There was a full thriving Youth Group but due to them all growing up and leaving for college the church is in the process building up the new generation. The church is 100% supportive for the Youth of the church. One of the last generation youth group members has been helping getting the new group going along with two of the other moms and their devoted Sunday School teacher.
There is always a fun event going on or away to get involved (if you desire). Every 1st Sunday of the Month is Communion (All who Profess Jesus as their Savior may Partake). Every 3rd Sunday of the Month the Youth hold a Pancake Breakfast before Service and the Choir sings during service. The Last Sunday of the month there is a potluck after service. I can not recommend and more loving and supportive Church family.
