Nice new parking lot, very popular lots of trails and dog walkers

Lovely location for nature walk. Park benches, water bodies, well marked trails, and paper maps provided. High powered lines running over several paths eyesore. Expect mountain bicycles to come barreling out of nowhere interrupting group without warning during peaceful walk.

Small park in a residential area. Has parking area compatible with the local demand. Half a dozen trails easy to follow and with lot of signs on the trees. Must be aware that are a lot of trails crossing one another so it's easy to change trail at any moment. All the trails are leveled, no significant up and down.

I love how peaceful the trails are. It isn't a very strenuous hike. I love coming here to clear my thoughts.

Several beaver ponds, plenty of well marked trails (for hiking, biking and snowshoeing). Even when the parking lot is filled tend not to run into too many people.

Trails are well maintained and marked. There's enough variety to get a good 4-5 Mike hike round trip. There isn't a ton of elevation change, and I've only hiked, but it looks like it would be a lot of fun to bike.

Good variety of walking trails. Dog friendly. Maps available at trail head. Entrance is easy to find with lots of parking space.

Great variety of terrain and trails for all sorts of outdoor activities, year round. Great for hiking, mountain biking, liesurely strolls, and cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. And, as with much public woodland, hunting is also permitted, so remember to outfit yourself, kids, and dogs with orange during hunting season.
Trails are well maintained and marked, and make are provided at the entrance - make sure to grab one for your first few times to prevent getting lost among the many trails. The map also provides a menu of routes to match your desired distance.response / report this review -

Pretty rad place to go for a hike, Skate, bike, ski, etc. Very popular and well used. Good trails. Good easy access. Go for a half hour or half a day!

We love this place, the trails are well marked and maintained. Trail maps are available at the main entrance kiosk. The only reason I don't give it five stars, is that dogs are allowed off leash, that may be plus for other people but we have a reactive dog who doesn't handle overly friendly dogs too well.

Great place to go for a walk, run or cycle. Miles of trails and ability to mix/match based on preference/distance. Pet friendly, but please be courteous of leash laws/cleanup. And, given its Merrimack, don't expect a difficult trail (mostly flat or slightly hilly), but some sections can get a little steep.
One thing to be careful of: bring a map or pay attention. There are usually white signs pointing you back to parking on the trail, but they're not at every intersection of trail. A wrong turn could add a 1+ mile detour.
Finally, they just improved parking capacity making it easier to get in/out now. If you had trouble finding a spot, you shouldn't now.response / report this review
