I just moved to the area and was very concerned about getting my state inspection, since I come from a state without them. I Googled the closest state inspection location and just went there. The employee who checked me in was very friendly and personable. They had a super nice waiting room with a Keurig and multiple types of K cups. They moved super fast, and were done before their initial estimated time. I was devastated to learn that I would have to have over $300 worth of service to pass my inspection, and I even started to cry because I had no idea what I would do. Then the office manager (can't remember her nameso much going on right now with the move that my brain is fried) asked if I wanted to apply for credit. She went to bat for me and helped me! I know I looked like absolute garbage because of running errands and unpackingthey could have assumed I wasn't worth their time, but they treated me like an important customer, even checking with a second type of credit line when I was turned down for the first. They even offered to drive me home while I waited (I live 1 mile away) but I just felt like walking. I seriously thought it would take hours to be ready, but I think it was like 45 minutes. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish and I will definitely be bringing my car back for routine service. So glad I chose Hornsby!

Great place to bring your car for service. Great customer service and the perfect place for the busy family. I may never go to any other car service. Great facility and good lobby/waiting area. Highly recommended.

Excellent, efficient, effective work - every time. With Hornsby, you get access to the quality equipment, speed, and number of technicians you'd expect at powerhouse chain with the attentiveness and personal touch of a family owned business. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else for tires.

On my most recent visit, I was in the waiting room when Jeff Hornsby had to deliver some bad, expensive news to an elderly woman. It impressed me enough that I needed to write this review. Jeff broke the news gently, cushioning the damage by explaining mechanical things in a way even I could understand, guiding the older woman through her options, and committing to walk through this process with her, whichever route she took.

Honestly, I was stunned. That woman could have been Jeff's own grandmother for his sincerity, patience, and kind gloves. It's not often we get a glimpse at the character of business ownership. Hornsby's Tires is run well, it's run right, and if she could still drive, I'd send my grandma running to Hornsby's for tire needs.

I look to the reviews on everything, which is what brought me to Hornsby Tire. It's not often that a business stands out in a positive way enough that I actually write my own review, but they deserve it. Professional, straight forward and easy to talk to. You'll notice that just over the phone and find that the same holds true in person.
I had 4 new tires mounted, balanced, etc. and a state inspection on my VW. No pushy sales, just genuine and informative. Any business that deals directly with customers needs to take notes from these guys.

    5 stars for shop cleanliness
    5 stars for customer service
    5 stars for professional service

I don't think that it is asking a lot for a tire shop to be able to locate and fix a leak on a tire they installed less than a year ago.
I took my jeep in Monday with low tire warning. They came back with your tire is fine you need a new battery.
I changed batteries. Tues morning tire warning again. Refilled tire. Same on Wensday. By Thurs it wouldn't hold air for more than a couple of hours.
Went back. Again told nothing wrong with tire you have loose sensor. I explained that I had put air in it twice that day and it needed it a third time how could that not be a leak?
Service writer said he would have them check again. Finally comes back with you need new stem.
The name of the shop is Hornsby tire. Shouldn't you be able to diagnose a simple tire leak???

This is a professional shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Don't let the neighborhood detract you, the facility here is state-of-the art. Very pleased with the honest diagnosis and fair price for my auto repair.

Not very helpful. Was informed that they could not do a mount and balance on a new set of tires I purchased because I did not buy the tires there. And that it would be dangerous for them to do so because the tires were considered "used". So by their logic they can't work on any " used" vehicles because it might be a liability for them. Wouldn't recommend this wannabe "mom and pop" shop, if I could rate them lower I would.
