Appearances before virtually every school district within Maryland; most Maryland Circuit Court juvenile jurisdiction within the greater D.C. Metropolitan region, and many others throughout the State of Maryland; appearing within the Juvenile Division of such courts. Adoption, guardianship, custody, school and community out-of-home private or public placements, civil and juvenile rights including free speech and assembly, residency and transfers, all disciplinary matters from suspension through expulsion and the appeals thereafter; Juvenile justice and police involvement, representation and the right to counsel. Practice involves global reach of legal issues impacting youth, students and their parents or guardians.
