  Had an excellent stay with my daughter.
  One day only. Our best part was breakfast! Making fresh small waffles & topping them with whip cream and adding fresh fruit on top. Fresh scramble eggs, bacon, small cut potatoes, refried beans, biscuits and can't forget the gravy with fresh brewed coffee.
  That made my day!

  I stay in hotels 1-2 weeks every month all over the country. I hated my stay here.
  
  The room was good. The bathroom and showers were fine. The amenities were good. The location was good. So why did I hate it?
  
  I have never stayed in a hotel with worse sound proofing. I was woken every night of my stay from people running in the hallways, people talking the next room and snoring from the other room. I would absolutely not stay here again solely because the noise in the room is unacceptable.

  Getting a commitment from the hotel was the worst part. Got email confirmations that we would have conjoined rooms. Not the case. Ended up getting rooms across from each other but not our bed preference or we could get our preference but we would be far from each other. Other than the booking experience it was a great stay! Beds were great even my cousin on the couch said she had a great sleep. Great and quick valet check out time is busy especially hard to get a cart. Lots of late night snack options. Bigger room with just a king size so it's worth the squeeze. Great stay. Will be back!

  We had a Conference for three days it was a great place for our conference. The staff were all great people and very helpful. Every place I saw in the hotel was very clean and uncluttered. The restaurant had really good food as were the meals served during our conference. Plus it's only half a block from the River Walk which is a great tourist spot!

  Excellent location. Breakfast buffet was comped due to being a Spire Elite member. Definitely an above average buffet. Room is clean, very nice decor. TV was larger and modern! Would definitely stay again!

  Spacious rooms with lovely views of Riverwalk. Direct access to Riverwalk. Keurig coffee maker. Beds and linens comfy, clean. However, please be sure to ask Front Desk if your room is on the - ODD - side of the hotel. My room 1707 was directly across from new building construction site. Very loud and active site - EARLY - in the morning til late afternoon Monday - Friday. If you are on the ODD side of the hotel - request a White Noise Machine - as the air conditioning fan system does not stay on continuously, nor is there a fan in the bathroom. Even with my white noise app on full volume - it still could not drowned out the construction noise.

  Great restaurant/bar and location! Made the experience at the River walk much better! Valet was very quick did not have to wait long at all. Room was very nice. Would definitely stay again!

  I stayed here for a conference during the last week of Fiesta. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep due to the never-ending celebrations going on until 3 each morning. The rooms are definitely not impervious to sound from outside or the hallway -> you hear everything. I was pleased when I arrived that the A/C was set to a low temperature considering it was in the 90s. The hotel's line of shower items was pretty good. The ironing board was OK, but the iron could use some attention. Be sure to descale it before use by turning up the steam and blasting it out for a while before using so that all of the sediment doesn't end up on your clothes. I was lucky enough to end up with a balcony overlooking the river, which didn't offer my of a view, but it was better than looking at the street or the pool. The pool was quite small and in the middle of several tall buildings, so finding a time when there is actually sun on the pool was a challenge. I ate breakfast as the hotel restaurant one morning, asking for an omelet without cheese, only to be presented with an omelet full of cheese. My waiter was nowhere to be found, so I went ahead and ate it. When he asked me how everything was as he brought the check over, I explained to him what happened, and he apologized.

  Great place to stay. Right on the river walk. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and roomservice is on point. Stayed here several times and never a bad experience.

  Perfect! The rooms were clean and very up to date. Our view of the city was spectacular from the 20th floor! The location is perfectly situated on the riverwalk near lots of food and attractions. Staff is super friendly. They have a snack bar type thing that has snacks, coffee, and drinks, but we just utilized the Walgreen's a couple of blocks down though. The only bummer was the $25 a day parking, but all of the hotels charge around here so it's unavoidable. I highly recommend staying here.

  Newly remodeled, so very clean. However, the only reason why I couldn't give it five stars was the attitude of the help. Customer service is not in their vocabulary.

  The Holiday Inn has a great location right next to the river walk. The view is not the greatest. My king room is located directly across a large construction site that is a eyesore. Understanding that is not the hotels fault I just feel the room should more discounted. Other than the outside the room is modern, great bathroom and shower. The bed is nice and springy for those couples who likes that. Nice balcony wish the patio furniture was clean. The could of left a covering over them so there would be so much dirt from the elements and construction site across the river. The hotel has its own side entrance to the river which is nice. Overall the hotel I would give 3.5 stars but the view gets 0 stars. Just ask if construction is still going on and book your room knowing that information.

  I stay at Holiday Inns most of the time because the quality is consistently good. Riverwalk is no exception. Great location, clean room, nice staff. However, it always seems like the more you pay to stay at any hotel the less amenities they provide. Which really should be the opposite in my opinion. Example: lots of HI have simple little complementary breakfast setup with a few basics to get the day started, but here they have a restaurant in house (a pretty decent one) but that nixes the breakfast. And charging extra for me to self park my car in their garage when I'm a guest. Sure it's downtown and parking is a commodity, but shouldn't that really already be part of my rate? All in all it's a nice place to day with just a couple short comings.
