The beds here are never the size they say they are and we always have some other issue with the room. This time it was a broken A/C unit. Eventually it fixed itself, but when we asked the front desk they replied saying there was nothing they could do. There are always problems with the elevators being slow and the place never really seems clean. The location is great for accessing the park, but other than that its terrible. I only stay here for rowing events for the ease of access to the lake.

Great place to go for a weekend or a week. Close to downtown and lovely views of the lake. They really went all out for me and my fiancee to make our week end special. Definitely going back.

The hotel was conveniently located near the convention center They even offered a shuttle service throughout the day; although it is also within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again!

Holiday Inn is very clean and the best part is, there's free parking! It's the main reason why I wanted to book this hotel. Plus you're walking distance to Rainey st. There's a gym on the first floor and nice lounge area by the lobby. The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. The next time I'm in Austin, I'm definitely coming back to this hotel.

I remember this hotel as a child decades ago. It's been around as evidenced with the name: Holiday Inn - Town Lake. Today the lake is called "Lady Bird Lake." It would be a mistake to change it. Town Lake gives the property character and a sense of historical distinguishment. Even though it's been around, you wouldn't be able to notice due the constant remodels.

The most remarkable employee, the only one I can remember because she was that great, is the Front Desk Agent who checked me in: Alisha. She set the theme for my stay.

It's so pleasant to be greeted by a warm, welcoming, sincere smile. Alisha said she was new but was nailing it nonetheless. She allowed me to check in early, recognized my valued membership with a complimentary upgrade and sorted out a billing request with proficiency.

She hooked it up with a Lake View Suite. The room couldn't have been better.

I was there four nights and only experienced one inconvenience. Good job because that's difficult to achieve... An accomplishment even. The main elevators were Out of Order. Elevators are tricky. The service men and women often work for a 3rd party and on their own time. And after the service call, it's probably got to be inspected by another entity all together. Because of this, I consider it outside their control. I got over it real quick because guests were provided access to service elevator. That's what I call problem resolution.

Thank you all very much, I'll be back for sure!

The service here was excellent, and the hotel feels modern, clean and recently renovated. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and will definitely stay again for future business travel. Also, this is a very convenient location to walk to local dining.

Rooms are interesting shaped and unique. However the windows don't open, the bathroom has no ventilation, and the thermostat doesn't really change the temp.

Cleaning staff is sub par. We tipped them on our first night, and each night thereafter they didn't take the garbage, change the sheets, nor bring new towels. We stayed for 5 nights, so that's fairly gross... Would not stay again. Not worth the ~$200/night

The hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle which is super helpful. It's located next to a gas station for quick access to things that aren't at the little store in the lobby area. The hotel bar and food at the bar are solid. Local beers on tap and in cans so you don't have to go far for those. It's easy to get to as it's right off the highway.

The hotel was awesome. Was upgraded for free with an amazing view inn the high floor. More than enough parking, good entrainment kb the hotel and walking distance to downtown. Hotel even offers a free shuttle in a 2 mile radius. Food was great although I thought the breakfast was over prices and average. I'd would most certainly book again.

I was lucky enough to get a room facing the water - gorgeous! Recently updated hotel, I particularly loved the barn door for the bathroom & closet. Soft pillows and linens. The breakfast buffet is huge, go hungry! We also enjoyed food at the lobby bar. We enjoyed lounging at the pool with its many chsirs and couches. All the staff were attentive and kind. I would love to go back!

Came to town for a convention and decided to bring my mom. The lake view is wonderful and for the most part the staff was great. A server lady asked my mother why was she at the breakfast area and asked if she's supposed to be working. Then passed her off to another server. Mom refused to file a complaint because the woman was elderly. But the young man she passed us to received a generous tip for his approach on the situation.

The overall stay was okay. The only complaint was that my mate found a bed bug on his pillow. I went down to the front desk to inform them of this issue. The MOD quickly remedied this situation by moving us and giving us both a free breakfast coupon. Altogether, it was an enjoyable stay and would recommend to any of my friends. Will be back at the end of August for Pride and my birthday.

Hotel needs some upgrades; especially the elevator. Nonetheless the rooms are very clean...which is in my opinion the most part. However, the concierge, Paul, was excellent! He should be working at a five star hotel in a major city. Excellent service, amazing professionalism, and most importantly he was very kind and helpful.

Upgrade to the lake view rooms, it's worth it. Otherwise you have the views and sounds of the highway and it seems the lake-facing rooms are better renovated. Free parking is great. Nice pool deck too. Hotel food isn't good, but it's a close walk to Rainy St, which has great restaurants. We had a mysterious puddle in our room. We had house keeping take a look and they said they'd come back. They never did so we walked around the wet carpet spot for the rest of our stay.

Really nice property. Had a great stay. Location was easy - next to I-35. Plenty of parking. Room was perfect - no issues. I had a view to the east - okay. But if you look to the west or northwest, those would be really good. Staff couldn't be nicer. Marissa at check in was very helpful and did a great job. Location was easy walking to river/lake, as well as everything on the south end of downtown. If you walk all the way to the Capital - wear comfortable shoes - you'll have a great time seeing Austin. I would be glad to stay here again. Thank you for taking care of me and God Bless. YVF
