I don’t like how they treat their black students. A white girl recently made a video of her saying the N word with a hard “r”, they did not do anything about the situation. Someone addressed it to the High Schools principal and he didn’t do anything about it either but say “Take it down offline” So many people were hurt because of what she said and offended/ scared. I feel like the school is more worried about their reviews and what people might think of the school than their actual black students.

Hoffman literally is terrible. They don’t care about their black students. They cater to their white students instead. I have experienced so much racism at Hoffman, it’s disgusting. Their regard for the feelings of their black students is so evident. A video of a white girl saying the n word and laughing recently got posted and has got attention on social media. The school barely did anything and has been all about protecting this girl rather than caring about their black students. Black students have harsher consequences for petty things compared to some non black students. Hoffman loves talking about how diverse we are but fails to address the blatant racism at the school. I don’t feel valued or welcomed there. It’s terrible.

I like this school ,but the phones in the class room is crazy. I don’t understand that when the teachers say put your phones away YOU PUT THEM AWAY. Not keep using them. Kids can’t live without out them. This school got to try to do something.

Great school - staff and administration do their jobs very well, and the building is much more secure than it used to be. One of the best in D211 overall.

Great school, as a local guide I would recommend this facility as a High school for your kids. Good staff, great administration.
