This is an amazing restaurant. They have everything and all of it is amazing! We have had super great lunch special sandwiches to fancy entrees to hot fudge sundays and everything is always suburb! Highly recommend!

My husband and I are obsessed with this gem of a restaurant. Amazing chef and kitchen staff have created a menu that manages to be both homey and innovative and always superb. If you go in season the strawberry shortcake is the best we've ever had. Always check out the seasonal offerings, which do not disappoint, but the pot roast is a particular favorite of ours.

One of the better meals we've had in quite a while. The duck dish was excellent. Good wines that pair well with entrees. Dessert menu also good. Table service was excellent. Comfortable, unpretentious environment. Focus is on the food. Not an inexpensive restaurant but I think they provide great value.

A small but very cozy place. The line to dine was out to the sidewalk in the middle of the day. Well worth the wait. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was tasty. The prices are a bit more then normal, but considering the location and prices in the area, it wasn't too bad. Well worth your time to check this place out.

My wife and I were excited to try this restaurant, as we had heard it was one of the best in town. Waitstaff was friendly for the most part, which can be thanked for the extra star, but the regular menu food is somewhat pricey, and the special dinner menu is outrageously priced (some items around $20). Neither of us enjoyed our food, especially my wife who said to me, "this is actually pretty gross," and left most of it on the plate. I found myself forcing myself to finish my meal out of obligation, having paid for it. There are much tastier and less expensive dinner options in Nashville that I would suggest. To me, Hob Nob does not set itself apart from the local competition.

We had not been here for a very long time. My husband and I had the Lobster Bisque soup and it was very rich and tasty. He had the Tuna Melt n steak fries and thought they were good, as well. Old Nashville charm and friendly service.

Paid $17 for pot roast that was over cooked, and had zero seasoning. I make better at home. My fiancé had a tenderloin that WASN'T a tenderloin!! It was a frozen, then deep fried chicken fried steak patty. The inside of building is in need of some serious repair or a remodel. Cleanliness even goes a long way!!!

Great place! I was alone and they were not stingy with seating me in a hurry at a larger table for 4. Traditional fare and a surprising selection of eclectic sandwiches and quiche for more discerning city folk..even vegetarian. Fresh and fast for as packed as the spot is. Servers were kind- definitely recommend

I can't speak for the rest of the menu to be honest because I always get the open-faced turkey sandwich when I come to Nashville. But it is insanely good! Cozy place.

This is a small cozy place, offering both booths and tables. The service was friendly, prompt, courteous, and informative. If you're going for dessert, definitely try the chocolate treasure with coffee, or a glass of red wine! It is simply amazing!

Something unexpected. I went in imagining a country mom & pop place, while it is they have a twist. The Chef Eric Cole, son of the current owners. Formally trained and has worked in fine dining establishments from here to California. Has brought fine dining food to Nashville. Let me say the Roasted Duck was to die for. The Hobnob will always be on my list when in town web if it's just for a homemade pastry.

From the minute you walk into this place you can just feel what it must have been like to live back in the 1800's. This is an old general store that has long since been converted into a restaurant. The detail and old charm of this place will really take you back to the olden days. They even have some of the original patriotic wallpaper (from the 1800's) still hanging above the door.
The food is absolutely delicious! No matter what you order it will most certainly be good. Generous portions and very friendly staff. COME EARLY to get a seat or be prepared to wait. We were nervous when we arrived and there was a line at the door, but they worked quickly to get us seated. Our waitress was very polite and knowledgeable about the menu. We order the veggie sandwich, salmon, and black bean soup on brown rice. I would recommend all three! Great food, fast service, fresh bread!
