This place is definitely my go-to! The employees are so kind and helpful. The owner knows what he's talking about and is always willing to lend a helping hand to his customers. I love his responses to the negative reviewers! To me, it shows he truly cares about his business!

Worth the drive! The inventory is amazing. Anything you need for gardening to farming to hunting, this place has got it all. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Unlike those stock stores (here's looking at you Wal-Mart and Academy Sports), the staff here wants to strike up a conversation with you while helping you out. You'll always be greeted with a smile and they'll even help you load your purchases up (tiny women carrying big bags of corn is not fun, trust me I've done it). There aren't many places like this anymore. Shop local and give them a try!

Over the past 3 years I've stop in to buy, corn (for deer), deer feeders, seed, & garden supplies. The owner has always been brash. Today the owner was an absolute jerk. I was selecting plants from his little garden center & he didn't like the way I was using one of the plant trays to put the plants I had selected in. He was enraged that I took a plant out of a tray to add 12 plants that I wanted to purchase and acted like a deranged fool 🤔. Needless to say I didn't buy anything after his episode, nor will I stop in again. WATCH OUT! 😬
Added 5/30/17 - Folks be very careful of this bunch I continue to hear not so good things & the response from the owner whew if that's not fabricated I don't know what is 🤥 I wish I could post images as I would attach photos of my purchase receipts over the last few years. 🤑 Moundville Feed & Seed is much nicer establishment if your heading that direction & The Ace Hardware also sells plants down there too!response / report this review -

Of the two people working one was nice and freindly, the other apparently his boss was a major a hole. He was rude to my wife and child. They seemed to only want to talk to the people they knew. The the arm full of items I was going to buy on a shelf, regret buying my wife her rattle snake beans as it means I gave these people money. Would rather deal with the junk they sale at Walmart than this place again. Drive to Northport, they a have a real co op.
