Excellent! I've lived in LS my whole life and never had a bad encounter. These officer's and every other good officer out there need to be respected. Think about things from there perspective. Don't just read a headline or listen to the news and make an assumption. Get informed!

I would like to take a seond to recognize the troopers that helped my daughter and I on saturday night. I began to feel like I was in a situation that was dangerous because the car got a flat in the lane at a place where there was very little shoulder. I had my hazards on but cars seem to not see them because I felt like we were definately in danger of being re-ended. I had officers stop, ACTUALLY TRY to change my tire and one went to attempt to air my spare. I am a single mom and I have a 4 year opld with Autism. I have had one mishap after another and the thougfht that I would have to get my car towed gave me a slight anxiety attack. They called a tow truck and we got home safely. In a world where law enforcement gets such a bad rap, especially when dealing with minorities. Well I am african american and I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. I attempted to call to get the officers names but there was no record of the stop? Angels in uniform!
UPDATE: The officers involved in helping me were Yoder 1231 and Thomas. They are 2 out of the 4 that responded! God Bless you!

Had to call them for my girlfriend due to a drive swerving between lanes. The lady that assisted me was very helpful and professional!

I'm 40 years old and have passed the driving exam 5 times in my lifetime, lowest score being 86%. I failed today for the first time. The sergeant in charge of this troop took some sort of personal dislike to me, despite being polite to her. As a single mom that just missed $50 in pay and 4 hours of work, I would prefer professional treatment to power trips. I've taken 3 of the 6 tests at this location and will never return. The other staff were courteous and kind. I hope she got a thrill out of ruining a strangers day. People can be so petty and mean.

No one likes getting caught speeding but trooper Wright makes it a bearable experience. All my run ins with him have always been pleasant. Kudos!
