  Being a scottish lad on holiday i couldnt help but noticed Highland Ink on the passing. I decided to have a look around the place and was met by a beauty of an owner by the name of Susie. After a chat I decided that i would come back for a Tattoo on the return leg of my journey.. I told the owner what i had in mind and how i wanted a tribute to my late father. ( he was a gambler and loved horses ).. Well all i can say is the artwork was beautiful.. It took just under 4 hours to complete and i love it.. I get complimented all the time.. Really clean. professional. Great company.. love it

  Susie is an amazing artist! I met her in SOCAL back in 2010. She was my first tattoo artist when I moved here from Ohio. I have not gone to anyone since. My husband has gone and I have referred others after that. She gave me a tattoo of seagulls that are beautiful with a complete scene behind it! I hope I get to have her turn it into an entire sleeve tat one day! Go see her if you want the best tattoo artist around in Santa Fe!

  Venice, Italy is one of the most fascinating destinations to which I have ever travelled. To reflect my love of Venice, Suzie created a beautiful tattoo of the winged-lion of San Marco on my left shoulder. I love it! It is a wonderful reminder of that most exotic city.

  Highland Ink is the studio of my favorite tattoo artist, Susie. Susie's work is amazing. She specializes in fine detail and script.
  Susie works by appointment only and she is the sole artist in the shop, which guarantees you get her undivided attention and means there will only be people in the shop who you, as the client, want there.
  I met Susie when she had the first studio in San Clemente, California. I was attracted to the quality of her work and the cleanliness of her shop (plus Susie is drug free and doesn't smoke, unlike many artists). Susie is also a Master's degree candidate and a pleasure to talk to, which is important when you are spending several hours with an artist getting tattooed.
  I'm currently getting both sleeves done at Highland Ink and I plan on eventually getting a back piece done there too, so I'll be visiting many times in the future.
