Really great spot for a stroll through the woods, even has a pet trail that's nearly 4 miles total. Nesting bald eagles on the river near the park, you'll see them if you look closely. Great for families, good signage, lots of different trails of different difficulty.

Absolutely best Park in Columbus with little trekking area. But parking is bit less. Lots of shelters available so you can book for party. Kids play area also available and very well maintained rest area. Park rangers are supervising the area more often. So family friendly place as well. One more thing to add. Shelters are big enough to accommodate 50+ people easily.

By far THE best park for larger activities here in Columbus. They are wonderful and very accommodating for large group events. They have several amenities they can provide in order to facilitate the cooking and production of food for large groups.

A great metro park for everyone. They have multiple trails/paths for the simple walkers to those that enjoy hikes. There are numerous areas for families to enjoy a picnic or a bbq pit cook out. Very family friendly and if you look close enough you'll also be able to enjoy the wildlife.

This is a great park for an individual or for a family. The first time I visited, I was by myself. I stopped by the Nature Center and was greeted by a friendly volunteer who shared his expertise of the area. I chose a 2.5 mile hike and then when I returned with my family, we chose a 3.5 mile hike. This is a beautiful park that has many events for families. I highly recommend you check it out!

Great place to go if you need some peace and quiet. Lots of great trails, pavilions, play areas, picnic tables, and space. Good place to go for a run or just sit outside and read a book.

Extremely beautiful and well maintained park. Definately can catch wild turkeys, deer about. There are dog trails as well as hicking and running trails. There are directions posted often, however if you've never been it's easy to get lost. Best looking park I've been to thus far.

Love it here! Tons of activities year round for all ages. Lawns, trails, restrooms and shelters are all clean anytime I come here.

I enjoy this park, though I wish all their trails were dog friendly. I am sure it's for dogs safety but Hocking Hills has tons of cliffs and dogs are allowed there! Oh well. For now we will enjoy what we have.

This park is so big you can lost for hours. If you like walking, jogging, running, cycling or enjoying time with the family on picnics this is the place. Grills and tables available and bathroom facilities. A great way to enjoy your time.

This park is so awesome. Scenery is always amazing & very clean park to relax with family or get out on the trails to walk/run. They seem to always try to expand and add more things yearly which is a big plus. People I've encounter are pleasant and never feel worried.

Always a nice time here. Well taken care of. Be sure to make a reservation. And be sure to communicate with rangers or you could get kicked out.

Absolutely love this place, and this can be applied all year round. It has some great trails and it is well taken care of. If you're looking for a place for a cookout or family reunions this is a great place to be.

I've had family member rent some places out for Wedding Receptions, Graduation parties, and numerous events and it's always been great.

Also, for Pokemon Go Players: There are some great Pokemon here!

They expanded some areas and if you're looking for a little bike trip it's a decent place for biking. Hopefully they add some biking trails, can't imagine how much better this place can get.

I come here regularly for an evening jog or brisk walk. Many trails. Separate pet friendly trails. Nice place nearby to walk around in nature. Would recommend the outlook point from where U can see the river & the high banks.

This is one of the best park around central Ohio. It is fairly large with a lot of trails and picnicking areas. The Rangers are also helpful. There's an observation deck from which you can look at Eagles one a clear day (some magnification device needed). It is also very peaceful and quite, and in summer, a few degrees cooler.
