Open easy parking with level ground, easy and very efficient hook ups. Full facility w showers, washer and dryers and great helpful staff.
Very nice large grassy sites, clean restrooms, friendly owners. Very quiet.
High Pines is friendly camp ground with lots to do at the camp ground. There is Rim Rock, Jake's Rocks, Kinzu Beach to visit. Also, Barrel House Inn and Tack's for good food.
What can I say about High Pines? Plenty! Right in the heart of Alleghany National Fores, this RV Park/Campground is the place to stay. Tom and Ellen operate and own this gem. As it was known many years ago known as Foote Rest in the past, High Pines are really modernizing everything. City water and sewage makes for crystal clear water running into your water lines unlike the rust smelled water that used to be the case. The sites are level, trees, shade, sun, large sites, full hook ups, partial hook ups, and tenting sites are all plentiful.
The sites and grassy areas are maintained, mowed, trash free, clean firepits, friendly atmosphere, quiet hours are observed, and schedules events are welcoming all campers to enjoy the company of all to get to meet new friends.
My husband and I cannot say enough good about it. So many relaxing things to do at the campground and nearby. Kinzua, hiking trails nearby, and all the exciting activities in the Allegheny's activity you'd want within a very shory drive, to do it all.
We are avid campers and this is by far our favorite campground.
If you are looking for a long or short weekend to relax, roomy, level campsites, activities to take part in or watch for entertainment, this place is for you. Try it out. It speaks for itself.
I have recommended it yo other campers and they loved it. Lots for kids to do. The famous fire truck rides all through the park, the hayrides, the train pull wiggling through each road in the campground, fun, safe, friendly, a place to be comfortable, and close proximity to loads of things to do.
You will see Tom and Ellen out and about throughout the campground. They love to talk and visit with the campers making sure all their needs are met.
Hope to see new faces soon. You won't be disappointed. It's a perfect get-a-way and lovely campground.
Margie and Nick Fritz.
Really pleasant place. Peaceful, lots of grass and trees, transients were being spaced every other site
Tom and Ellen are great people. The campground was soon clean I couldn't find any twigs on the ground to start a camp fire. Not complaining just saying. It was one of the cleanest campgrounds weve stayed at. . If we ever come up this way again we will defiantly be camping here. Next time I'll bring my own twigs. 😁
Nice place to camp. Very pleasant. Clean grounds
What a nice surprise this campground was! Clean, easy to navigate and convenient to all we wanted to see in the area. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners and it's clear they understand the lifestyle of RVers. We rarely participate in campground activities, but we decided to give the "wine tasting" a try. What a lovely evening! Ellen, the owner, promoted a local winery - great to see businesses helping each other out, and we got to meet a few seasonal campersall very friendly and welcoming.
We are already talking about coming back next year since we know we'll have a great place to stay! Thanks Ellen & Tom, wishing you continued success!

We stayed there for 10 days at the end of June and beginning of July. We have stayed in many many campgrounds in our travels but this is by far our favorite. The owners are so nice and extremely respectful to their guests.
The only place I stay when in the area. Tom and Ellen are the nicest people. Great off-road riding, perfect for the big adventure bikes!
I worked up in PA for 3 months this year, from April to end of June.
Stayed at High Pines during this time and don't really have any complaints. The sites were pretty, lots of trees, well kept, and had a little store.
I would stay again in a heart beat hope to work up that way again!!
