Horrible management. Lived there for 2 years and so glad to be out of there. Numerous maintenance issues including constant plumbing problems including leaks and flooding. Mold is all over in the walls due to management being too cheap to hire real plumbers to fix issues. Rent at your own risk! Make sure you have plenty of insurance coverage for flooding and mold issues. Don't plan on getting your deposit back either.
They will charge you for for the destruction of the carpet due to the flooding because they don't get the pipes fixed correctly. These people are greedy and lazy landlords! Would be a nice place if not for Monarch Property Management.

I've lived in these apartments both under the old and new management. It has been great under the new management as there are multiple maintenance workers, you have access to all the amenities at Shoreline Landing just up the road, and you really can't beat the view. The size of the apartments for the price is very reasonable. When I first moved in, there were some issues with residents not picking up after their pets, but it seems that issue has been addressed as well. I'm in the process of relocating for my job and the office staff has been helpful in working with me regarding my lease.

The one downside I'd say is the fact that I have no option but to break my lease due to the relocation and despite the fact that I have somebody lined up that wants the apartment, they will not allow me to sublease it to them. They will basically be able to rent the apartment out with no loss of income and still charge me over $1000 to move out. Seems it's always more about the money than accommodating the residents.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. For starters my air conditioning was broken all last summer. They came out to fix it at least three times (after i had to call them 10 times) and said it was fixed but still doesn't work. They just came again today 3 weeks after my first call, said it is fixed, and again it still doesn't work. It has now been broken a year and a half. The entire building leans which causes the water from the shower to leak onto the floor every time you use it. Giant icicles form off the building easily 10 feet long that hang over the side walk and entrances due to poor installation that also causes your gas bill to be higher. In addition to that your bill is split 6 ways so even if you set your temp at 68 and your neighbor sets it at 75 you have to pay the difference. There is very little parking. Washer and dryer is shared. Its expensive, they also charge you more every time you renew your lease (which I never should have done.) I could go on and on. Don't move here. 0 stars. If there is any positive, the view is nice I guess.

The new management is absolutely terrible. The office secretary, Victoria, cannot spell her own name right and if you plan on calling maintenance, expect it to take 2 months or not at all. The month we were moving out they charged us a late fee when we were not late, have never been late in the two years we have lived there. They are just terrible at managing a complex. The previous manager was excellent and very nice, but these poeple are inconsiderate and incompetent-don't move in here. Over priced and we are so excited to leave.

The low pet fees and large floor plans are what drew us in here but everything else about this place makes us want out. For starters the one maintenence man they have on staff is not nearly enough to keep up with the demands. Any task they schedule seems to take at least two days longer then planned. Secondly the gas bill, heat, is divided over the building and not per apartment which means even if you set your thermostat at 68 if your neighbor has theirs at 75 you will be paying the difference. Which means that in the winter these poorly insulated apartments will have a gas bill over $100 easy. Thirdly because of the lack of insulation there are deadly icicles that form dring the winter months, up to 10 feet long. These icicles form all around the building including over the entry way and of course they took three weeks to address this issue instead of being proactive and realizing this issue will obviously occur every winter. It always seems to take two to three days to clean the snow off of the sidewalks and from around the vehicles because againg they only have one maintenence man to do this and dont see the need to hire someone to help out. And last but not least there are no amenities here and you would think that would make the rent cheaper here. Management just plain sucks here. The worst apartment complex I have lived at and I cannot wait to move out.

Nice: beautiful views. Not nice: if there is a fish die-off or toxic algae in the lake you'll wish you lived ANYWHERE else!!!

Nice: a move-in discount. Not nice: once you're in, watch for rent increases while new folks come in under the move-in discount. NOT NICE: no way to break the lease.

Nice: if you're a pet lover, you can keep the pets. Not Nice: Other people's dogs howling, parrots squawking, dog poop, pit bulls, etc.

Not nice: fee for carports. NOT NICE: not much parking because may people won't pay for the carports. Not nice: one washer/dryer for 6 apartments. Not nice: no pool or clubhouse but priced like apartments that have them.

    Nice: Shores schools.

I love these apartments. I lived there and would love to sell my home and return to it. The facility management and the maintenance team worked effortlessly in making sure these apartments were maintained.

The only negative was having to share a laundry area. Nevertheless, it was clean, very quiet and peaceful. The scenery alone was awesome...

    I LOVED LIVING THERE!!!!
