This is one of the worse experiences I’ve had. I had an initial appt. to have a growth removed in my dogs eye lid and to have his teeth cleaned.
Dr. Benoit said after reviewing my dogs lab work he would not do surgery. He also said the fact I was on a raw diet was awful for my dog. I responded telling him my dog had severe liver problems and low albumin levels at 9. I thought I was going to lose him. I then changed his diet to raw and he is now 12 and his numbers have remained the same. Also he has Lyme. (Which is also a cause for low numbers) my dog is happy, most people think he is a puppy. He was extremely rude just because we disagreed. He met my dog once, I’ve been with him every day for 12years. I know when he’s off or feeling great.
I also called them because the pre op antibiotics were reacting poorly with my dog.
They basically said oh well.
Then I get a call 4 days later and they tell me Dr. v wants to see my dog before surgery.
I would’ve appreciated them being a little more professional. I said my dog is reacting poorly to the antibiotics and now you want him on them longer for a schedule change? I’m sorry do you want the appointment or not? was the reply

Coming from a person that has been to one to many vets for different dogs for different reasons. I must say this is one of the most affordable and caring places that I’ve been to. They don’t do anything without your consent and you know it’s in the best interest of your four legged best friend. My dog was extremely ill and had to have surgery but all along I had a piece of mind when she was being treated here as I knew what they were doing every step of the way. Kudos to the docs and staff here!

Unbelievable my lil Yorkie got hit by a car today. I called Hereos vet to ask if I can bring my dog in and the person on the phone put me on hold for almost five minutes. When they came back they said I can bring him but there was no guarantee that they would see him . What kind of answer is that to tell a person when my dog got hit by a car?? Really I’m sure it wasn’t the vets response but that was so unprofessional. It saddens me that they gave me that response . I had to end up taking him elsewhere hopefully he makes it because his injuries are severe .

Horrible! worst vet clinic! I had to pay for an excessive amount of x-rays which I asked them for a cd they gave me an empty cd told me my dog had not broken bones but she did. I want my money back!!

This Vet is outstanding. They are affordable, comforting, and super nice. I have a pug and when they neutered him they fixed his nose and he can breathe so much easier. He got fixed and a nose job and recovered in 2 days. Bear loves his Vet!

I've been going to Heroes & Dr Cometto for a few years now. I started going when they were in Pompano and follow them to Oakland Park even though it's further away from my house. The whole staff is wonderful & accommodating. My cats are always so well taken care of by everyone I have never felt rushed during appointments. They really take the time to answer all of your questions and figure out the best course of action. The prices are extremely reasonable too.

This place is the greatest place for your animal Dr.Penn saw my dog and treated him like he was a human childto me that mean a lot, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable I will always use Heroes in the future. Everyone has a smile on there face, and after seeing my dog they put one on mine.you folks are the best in my book. Thanks again

I brought my senior rescue Pomeranian in for a teeth cleaning this week and I had a great experience. Her teeth were basically rotten, had been bleeding from the gums and obviously had been in a lot of pain. Today, I immediately noticed her breath no longer had any smell and when I checked out her teeth, I was delighted to see them looking like new again. I can't believe how white and clean they are now after the shape they were in. Dr. Goldblatt did a phenomenal job! The best part was the reasonable price. I will definitely be bringing both my dogs to Heroes again. Thank you to the entire team! =)

Heroes is so wonderful! They were so loving to my baby Sadie and found her problem super quick. I've been to vets that only care about selling you things and hardly pay attention to my pet but it was easy to see my baby was their MAIN concern at Heroes. I'd highly recommend them for any issue your pet may have. I can't stress enough how great they are. My pets comfort was their priority and I can say with confidence that I will go there every single time for both my cats and dog!♡♡♡
