My waitress didn't know what a Paloma was and apparently the bar tender didn't either. Food was good but we kept it simple. When I've tried more interesting dishes I've been disappointed. Service was good and the place is pleasant.

I was really looking forward to eating my birthday dinner here. Unfortunately all I got (in the hour we were there) was a soup and drink. I would suggest you guys find a cook/bartender/waitress that can keep up with a crowd. The waitresses excuse was "it's very busy" meh I have seen busier and gotten food/drinks faster. No apology. No nothing. I could have and probably would have given more stars if at the least, our waitress came over and said "hey, it looks like it's really busy it may be a while, just wanted to give you a heads up" but no. We got none of that. And we weren't the only ones. Maybe hAve more than one waitress running the down stairs. Again, very disappointed that I didn't get to try the dinner because my chili was really good.

I'm not one for Mexican food, but if I do decide to have some, it's always going to be Hermanos if I'm in the Concord area. The portions are great, and the prices are reasonable, and their garlic nachos are to die for. They also have the best dessert on the planet: The peanut butter dream.

The atmosphere is usually great, especially upstairs, where they regularly book great local musicians. They'd be getting five stars from me if it weren't for one thing: The service is legendarily slow. We often go out with friends on Friday nights, and Hermanos is usually dismissed because of the time it will take us to get dinner. So if you're in the mood for Mexican just make sure you've got some time on your hands and you're not ravenously hungry when you head in, because it's going to be a while.

I the food is genuinely great.
They have maintained several Recipes form Bruce when he was involved with the restaurant.
Jane now owns the restaurant and she if you are lucky enough you might catch her there.
The unfortunate part why the not so great score is that there is a lack of communication from the General to the other associate's as to what is going on for possible up and coming events where someone may want to do a function, birthday, business meeting.
The communication may not happen.
Also the General Manager have a "general schedule" of up coming events at the Capital Center, but they do not contact The Capital Center of new events that may have added to their schedule.
This would only entail the General Manager making a simple phone call so that if there is some sort of a show They would add extra help and if there is no able to come in on short notice then the General Manager should come in and help cover the restaurant so the added amount of customers so that the customer are Better cared for.
This is a Major on going issues that seriously needs to be addressed.

Hermanos is a great option in Concord. Skip the hostess downstairs and head up to the bar. If you're lucky there will be live jazz.

THE BEST NACHOS! And more than a vegan restaurant. Great atmosphere, food drinks and excellent service everytime I've gone. Love the upstairs bar if you have a small group (2-4) but it's all nice

Slow service and bland food that does not warrant the high price.

Recently, my family and I went for dinner on a Saturday night, we were ushered right to a table where we proceeded to wait over an hour for our food- not fun with young kids (and yes, we beat the evening rush)! I ordered the daily special of two Tuna filled tacos for around $15, which did not include rice or beans. The fish was mushy, did not taste fresh and had very little flavor, despite the description saying it was marinated and then topped with a spicy sauce.

This is not the first time this has occurred, we have had previous mishaps with take out orders (not receiving all our food) and slow service. Will not give them another try after this last outing.

Positives: Casual atmosphere, friendly staff.
Negatives: Very slow service, high prices, bland food, avoid take out!

The service that I've had here is decent. The food is good although the portions are small for the money. The restaurant is clean and there is ample parking. Short wait time and overall positive experience.

Easy to get to, good amount of parking. Enchiladas, tacos, salsa and guacamole are all on point. Seriously love this place. Oh and the margaritas are also good.
FYI though, it's small so sometimes it's a little on the slower side. If you are in a rush a suggest calling it in a head of time.
