Freedom is never free. Let’s honor those who sacrificed greatly so that we could be free. Happy Fourth of July!
Let’s celebrate Picnic Month this July! Did you know that picnics date back to 18th century France? They even had their own word for the activity: piquenique. If you went on your own picnic with friends and family today, where would you go? Do you have a favorite spot?
It takes a team to make our communities safe. Thank you to all of our public servants for the amazing work you do to make our lives safe and secure.
June 21 marks the first official day of summer. What’s your favorite thing about summer? We’d love to hear from you in the comments.
Dads are pretty special people. Whether you are missing your Dad this Father’s Day or are blessed to still have your dad here with you, take a moment to share what makes your dad special to you.
Nature demands nothing of us. During times of grief, you may feel pulled in many different directions. Work. Family. Friends. Grocery shopping. In contrast to all of these things (even though they are good), nature asks nothing of us. In many ways, it gives to us. It accepts us as we are and doesn’t demand answers from us. To learn more about how nature can bring us hope and healing on our grief journey, go to bit.ly/Nature_Grief.
