Description

I adopted a vegan lifestyle in January of 2015, and I've never looked back. Over the following summer, I began hiking regularly and built up awesome, strong muscles that powered me up countless mountains and lead me on some adventures that I'll cherish forever.
Since moving to Anchorage in January 2016, I've taken up running and am currently training for my first half-marathon. I'm also swimming regularly, and getting out into the mountains as often as I can.
I love how my body feels when I eat a plant based diet and exercise regularly, I love that I have more energy and feel less sluggish, I love experimenting with new foods, I love connecting with new people, and I love that it's inspired me to be more active and conscious.
