Advertised weekly Friday night fish buffet was not served due to lack of staffing only one person to do both bartend and run the grill. Other weekly specials not being served currently, be advised to call ahead

My fiance and I had dinner there on Oct 9th. The cook wouldn't leave her bar stool and drink to cook our food. The bartender had to do the cooking. They were constantly dropping the F bomb. An employee that was off shift, came in and made his own drinks. The language by the employees was unbearable. The service was just awful and food was questionable. I come up often for work and I'll never return.

I have a lot of memories here because my Grandmother used to work here until she passed away in 2005 and whenever I walk in through those doors. I get flooded with nothing but good memories. It's hard for me to walk in there sometimes because sometimes I just get overwhelmed But, I loved going there as a kid and I hope that one day I can drink a beer there in memory of my Grandmother. Also, I should mention that the staff pretty much feels like family and it's always a welcoming feeling.

We stopped in on a Saturday and you could not order off the menu as they had a Saturday smorgasbord going on. Our total for five adults and five kids came out over $100 I ate 1 piece of pizza, a salad, a stuffed roll and 2 strawberries, my niece at 2 small pieces of waltermelon and a few grapes (she is 2 and ended up not feeling good so would not eat) and my 1 year old nephew who ate very little. We had to pay 3.95 for each of there meals and Mine was 13.95 and I still had to cook when I got home. Everyone always told me they had such good food well me myself don't care if I every go back. I could have waited until I got home and ordered a pizza for way less as all we wanted was to order a pizza but were told we couldn't order off the menu (the menus were sitting on the table they shouldn't have been there if we couldn't order off them) also we were never told how much it cost until we got our check.

Had a great dinner! Pasties are the true original Cornish Pasty recipe made fresh on Thursdays. So darn good! Thirsty Thursday in top of it makes it awesome. Even the darn coleslaw is home made. Who does that anymore?! Prices are amazing too. You need to try. A true yupper delight. If you are expecting Olive Garden or Applebee's don't bother.

We went here after a long day of adventuring around the area hoping for some decent food. Turns out it was smorgasbord night and we were just in time for the perfect resupply! Loads of delicious fresh food of all shape and size. Wings, ham, chicken, salad, dessert, veggies, I can't remember everything I ate. All I know is we were full afterwards. Definitely worth a stop, if only because it's the only joint in town! The interior is nifty too.
