Another great morning at Lakes Country 102.1 with Lou Kelly, Leah Moore and our HIC Board President Shannon Morgan. We also had Brad Eubanks in the house all talking about the 9th annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes event coming up on April 20th.

With it being Women’s History Month, we wanted to recognize Ellen Pence (1948-2012). Ellen was a pioneer in the movement to end domestic violence. She worked with survivors to create the “Power and Control Wheel,” which we use on a daily basis at the agency! She also founded Praxis International and her work has helped DV victims for decades! 💜#womenshistorymonth #celebratewomen
