  I could literally write a book and it won't be enough to convey my journey. I'm still on the path of mending and am in an immeasurably advanced state towards that goal vs. when I was bedridden for 8 months straight - refusing to eat just so I wouldn't have to get out of bed to use the bathroom. I also been through 13 chiropractors and before that, many traditional medical doctors. No one was able to help, most likely caused me to get worse despite paying them for it, except Dr. Miles. Even after having found upper cervical chiropractic, having gone to Atlanta twice to see Atlas Orthogonal "masters" and besides seeing a NUCCA, a Blair and 2 Atlas Orthogonal specialists in Charlotte, still had zero improvement. All of this was taking place while I was bent like pretzel and in immense pain. A pain that I can only describe: even people that get shot multiple times, if they happen to survive, they can get discharged from a hospital after some time. Whereas with me, it was an endless, multi year long, never ending, 24/7, 11 out of 10 pain. By the grace of God, through discovering CBCT scan/upper cervical diagnosis (3D scan of the skull) and finding a specialist in PA, they were able to refer me to Dr. Miles. And the rest has been history. Dr. Miles was able to discern that the adjustments were not registering due to the acute rotation of C1 and C2. I've already written for too long so will keep the rest short. The rest has been history. Of course the road to recovery had a lot of ups and downs (one thing I will recommend is that never take a break, try to adhere to the plan as much as you can). But one thing is for sure, incessant pain is no longer an issue. I travel from Charlotte to Hickory to visit him, despite there being so many upper cervical practitioners in Charlotte as I do not trust anyone else at this point

  I have personally seen a total of 10 specialists for my debilitating spine condition for 10 years. I have completed countless hours of research, spent over $50,000, hundreds of hours on physical therapy and exercises, and sought numerous massage therapists on trying to just feel better for one day. I wanted to get better, but in the end, I was really just focused on just not being in pain long enough to get something important done. I was truly disabled and worsening when I found the “Healthy Living Spinal Care.” Brushing my teeth was even hard. Sitting was becoming extremely painful and laying down could either help or suddenly make me worse. However, after receiving just 3 months of care at Healthy Living I am steadily recovering. I can actually think of something else other than my pain. It takes strength to go through what I have been through and now I can use some of that mental strength for more than my condition. Thank you for your help.

  I have been going to Healthy Living Centers for about 7 months. Dr Miles and Dr Ovara are amazing! I had experienced lower back pain for years and when I started there it was because my left arm would go completely numb and my fingers were swelling to the point of not being able to wear my wedding ring of 39 years. This
  then became headaches and constant neck pain. With the first visit I saw improvement and I love the way I feel now. I now have no back pain or wearing my rings again.
  I have recommended them to so many people and all have agreed it was great for them. Being in alignment makes all the difference in the world. And you won’t believe how easy it is. You should call today and make an appointment. You won’t regret it.

  Dr Miles and his wonderful staff are the best in the business! I can't thank them enough. I've felt like apart of their family since my first visit. They will take great care of you and your family!
