Staying here was extremely pleasant. A wedding reception was going on so the staff offered us a quieter room on the other side of the hotel and were so accommodating. The rooms were spacious and had nice decor and two sinks. The outside of the hotel was even more gorgeous than the inside. I would definitely stay again

The first day was fine, until I got food poisoning from the meal that we ordered that night. I was up from 2:30 AM until 11:00 the next morning throwing up with painful abdominal pains. The next day was spent in the room sleeping and projectile vomiting until we were able to finally leave and drive home. I didn't fully recover from the incident until 5 days later! Be careful what you order! When I asked for a refund on the meal, they took off about $10. Seriously! They should have comped me the entire stay. We will not be going back!

Buildings were lovely but poorly insulated. We could hear the people above us. It was so bad we could a actually hear them urinating before the commode was flushed.

We checked in Saturday and went to make a reservation for the Easter brunch. We were told they had no room even though we were hotel guests. We were served a cold breakfast Easter morning without bread or fruit.

Our folio was calculated incorrectly and the person checking us out made fun of the corrections we pointed out.

We were here for a wedding and it was lovely! It was an indoor ceremony because there was a chance of rain. The ballroom with the reception was very nice. Music was great, food was yummy. I was surprised at the large portion of salmon I received. A great venue for a special day.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Got a great rate from the Hotel Tonight app for a last minute reservation. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the grounds and rooms are perfect. The gym is medium-sized, and wasn't busy around 8pm when we went. There are two hot tubs - one outside with the pool, and one that can be accessed through the locker rooms in the gym. A wonderful experience and I will definitely be booking again.

The staffs are friendly. There are plenty of parking. The room is clean. They also have a nice heated pool. Overall, it's good. The only thing that I don't like is the room size; but it's not a deal breaker to me

Beautiful resort! Many opportunities for great photos. My family came for a small getaway. Parking can get kind of scarce, but not much to worry about. The mansion itself is easy to find and navigate. It has a nice lounge area (Palm Plaza) though we did not receive service/did not get to order food. For context, there was a wedding at the same time as our stay. We lounged for about a half hour, about an hour before their closing. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and accommodating. There is a nice spa and fitness center with a sauna and indoor jacuzzi, and also an outdoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi. Our rooms were not preloaded with snacks or drinks, but did have Keurigs and small fridges. Plenty of lighting and clean.

Bathroom needs new faucet and shower head. Furnishings in room need to be up dated. Room service and food was great. Pool was sparkling clean. A good size for lap swimming. The staff was extremely helpful and very polite. The landscaping was well taken care and beautiful.

Hayes Mansion is a beautiful property tucked away within a neighborhood in South San Jose. You'd never know it's there! The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were really pretty. Although I only stayed one night and didn't have a chance to explore all the amenities, I'd go back if given the opportunity.

We love this beautiful, historic property. Our 2nd time to visit friend's in the area and will always close to stay here. A really charming, boutique-feel. We had a suite last year, worked well to have space for a couple if others over for drinks; it was a bit dated inside the room but comfy. This time, we had a room on the 3rd floor with balcony overlooking the mansion and loved it. Great, friendly staff too.

The resort as a package offers a lot. The room itself is not very attractive though. Food is pretty good, but pricey. It's a good venue for wedding, and the resort has three buildings which allow them capable to do multiple weddings on the same day.

Hospitality plus. Received a wonderful upgrade on our room for a master suite. Clean and beautiful. The old historical house serves an ideal place to host your conference, wedding, or party. Pool and jacuzzi, man cave basement includes a bar, 2 pool tables, and card room. We were given the historic tour by the informative manager. The Sunday brunch was expensive but fantastic! Will return for a special occasion.

We found this place last minute and we were still able to book two rooms. I had no problem what's so ever checking in or finding the place. It is a beautiful mansion with a very nice walking trail. The room was very cozy and very clean, there is nothing I could complain about even if I wanted to. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is plenty if parking and they also offer breakfast and lunch buffets. Overall had a great experience at the Hayes Mansion, I would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance.

Stayed here on a work trip. Nice rooms and friendly staff. A few places could use updated but nothing major. Kind of in a strange place for a hotel - mostly residential area. Overall, very comfortable with great landscaping. Good place to get away to at the end of the day.
