Haven by the Falls is going to be taking a break.
We have decided that the Ruffing family is going to start enjoying The Haven themselves with family and friends, and at least for now, stop renting out Haven by the Falls.

We are going to keep the FaceBook page alive, for a few reasons.
One, we want to be able to make recommendations to our past guests and friends on other lodging establishments, based on our experiences enjoying the area.
Secondly, just because so many people have commented to us that they had so many great memories of the Haven, and were so glad to see it being kept alive, upgraded, and improved, instead of being left to fall apart like so many other area cottages that have been around for decades, but sadly, are no more.
Third, we haven’t ruled out that we would get back into the business at some point in the future, and if we were to decide to sell The Haven, a future owner could decide that they wanted to rent it out and that could be of interest to our

Jeff likes to “fix stuff” and has enjoyed all of the very positive feedback from the improvements. It’s obvious from the responses of guests and friends, that people like to see “stuff get fixed up” too. We’ll keep posting.

We’ve decommissioned Unit 2 kitchen and converted it into a laundry room, which we will find very useful.

We may revisit and change our decision in the future. Feel free to check with us for referrals, recommendations, fishing advice, or to see if we are getting back into the rental business.
