Completely incapable and incompetent service. Ordered multiple times and item was never received. When asked where the product is, I was told it was "being held by customs" when I asked for the tracking number so I could take matters in to my own hands the courier told me it had been exported back to origin. Lack of communication and incorrect information.
They posted the wrong listing price, but still honored the price for me. Great customer service! Would recommend
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great prices and service.
My experience with this guys was very positive,I went there for a flat and I end up getting a tune up which one of the technicians give me a run down of what was needed to be done and now my bike runs like new
Awesome customer service. I came in when they were about to close and helped me change the tube on my tires and they even looked at my bike and gave me pointers for tuning up my jalopy. I stayed past closing time and they never made me feel rushed. Thanks guys!
They got my bike tuned up and ready to go. Service was great.
Really happy with my bike. Thanks guys!
Awful customer service!! I went to discuss replacing a tire on my bike and the guy there was very disrespectful. He said they wouldn't even replace the tire since the bike is older and may have more issues. Then he told me to just "go somewhere else because they don't want my business."
A nice bike shop with very friendly and helpful staff.
(Refer to recent edit) I most decidedly did NOT feel the friendliness. As I rode up Illinois St, on a very recent rainy Friday evening, I saw that the lights were on at Hashtag, with several cars in the parking lot. Needing to purchase a new helmet and lights, I pulled up, tentatively tried the door, and saw that it was unlocked. As I busied myself with my bike lock, rain pouring off the hood of my cape, half blinding me, an employee came to the door. I assumed he was going to hold open the door, but first I had to secure my bike. I then tried the door again, and realized that his only purpose for walking to the door was to lock it. When I tried the door the second time, I got a couple of snotty glances from those inside. If nothing else, it would have been considerate of the employee to open the door enough to tell me they were closed.
Post script: As often the case, there are two sides to every situation. Mea culpa, on my part, for having only focused on one. The day after I wrote this review, owner Gavin Shipley kindly sent me a profuse apology, via Facebook, that I just now discovered. On that dark, rainy evening, Gavin was in his shop, with a few friends. Having had a recent surgery, and unable to come to personally come to the door, a friend walked over, but as dark as it was outside, and with the lighting in the store, none were able to see me. I will be needing a new front basket for my bike soon, and will stop by after the holidays pass, to introduce myself, and give Hashtag Bikes a little business!
