Well stocked store. Lots of variety. Plenty of small items for stocking stuffers too.Staff wasn't too personable though (1 individual seemed as if he was having a bad day).
Worth stopping in though...I'm sure his day got better.

They've got almost everything you could imagine for hunting, fishing, camping, hiking or just enjoying the great outdoors. Just found my favorite Wigwam socks there. I should've known... SMH

The best outdoor outfitter in NJ! They have everything and then some... Well worth the visit just to browse. They have all the Carhartt gear , camping, fishing, hunting and army surplus gear as well. One of my favorite stores.

Found what I needed but check was less than courteous. Seems the young man didn't want to be there. There's always Amazon shopping without the nonsense. Thanks.

Always loved this place. Camping, fishing, hunting, boots. It's a fun place to check out.

This place has a little of everything. If you ever wanted to get some outdoor or camping items, and went to an 'army surplus' store that had items unsuitable for camping, well this isn't one of them. They have fishing, knives, lanterns, tents, and just about anything else you'll need.

This is an updated review the last two times I was here to buy an overpriced knife I stood there for about 15 min while a staff member was sitting 10ft away looking on computer rang the bell never came over. Same thing the second trip. They also have a lot less used military gear now also and the prices are very high on what they have. After many years of coming here I will not be returning.

Everything there is pretty much overpriced. I went to buy some fishing stuff, top water frogs to be exact n are priced higher then getting straight from manufacturer. Also as I was sorting through them I noticed some of them were priced differently then other's for the same exact frog.

Excellent Army Navy store. Great customer service. Nobody in your face unless you need help finding something. They have everything there.

Bought a pair of boots. Boots started falling apart after 1 day. Girl on phone said I can't return because they were worn. $119 pair of boots.

On a side note, the guy who sold them to me did seem to fall into the rude category that other reviewers have mentioned.

They do stock a lot of top-quality stuff and price them accordingly. The people at the fishing section are helpful and polite, they give me advice on lures, tackle, and what live bait to use in what season and for what fish.

Their service staff are not always reliable and tend to horse around sometimes.

The overall montra of this place is "you get what you pay for" and I think it's fair to say that's accurate.

Great to wander around. Plenty of good choices. Price line seems to suit many tastes.

Went there to get a high priced benchmade knife. The price was about $25 more than I could have bought it online. The guy that helped me did his job and that's about it. Not a friendly place from my experience. Some knives are decently priced and I decided to but it because I wanted it now and wanted to support local businesses. Would I buy there again? Yes but I won't spend extra money on something I can't wait 2 days and save a lot. If the service was better and the staff was more knowledgeable I wouldn't mind but it wasn't a good experience.
