I am in there a lot. I have not bought any large items, but I have them mount bindings on skis I bought elsewhere. I trust their level of skill. I buy ski tuning stuff and get a lot of friendly advice from the staff on how to best use them. If something breaks, like my ancient but loved ski boots or poles, they have the parts.

The staff at this shop are excellent and very friendly. Lionel was extremely helpful when I required an out of the ordinary wax order.

The best ski shop I've ever been to. If you haven't gone here for your skiing needs you should.
Also one of the best telemark outfitters in northern Maine.

If you want great service and tune ups this is the place. Great boot fitting also, Leonel takes the time to evaluate customer fit to insure Happy Feet.

At Sugarloaf, Lionel and his crew are the best of the best. Their ski tuning is the best I've ever experienced anywhere, and Lionel's boot fitting skills are legendary at the Loaf. In that building is more top shelf ski gear than you can imagine!

I ordered a pair of Hestra Gloves on the Hestra website for a ski trip and paid $22.00 for express delivery. Hestra had this retailer send the gloves express delivery but they did not arrive in time because they sent them one day too late and used an unreliable shipping service to profit more money. They shipping charge was $22.00 to me and it cost them $5.54 and arrived after I returned from my week long ski trip to Colorado!!

This is a company that do not care about the customer!!! If you want something expect to pay and WAIT, WAIT, WAIT.

These people are the most layed back, but experts at what they do. They
were VERY friendly, remembered me from my phone call to them (well,
multiple phone calls). The only downside is that their address when google
mapped is slightly wrong. But, I called them, and they helped 'guide me in'

The work they did was dead on right, and their prices are MORE than reasonable.

After that, I talked to locals to the area, and they all already went to Happy Tunes!

    Awesome!
