I really want to get some soaping in, but my feeding schedule is just madness! I have babies to feed at 6 am, milking time (about 7am), 10 am, noon, 3 pm, evening milking (about 6pm), and at 8 pm. It's a miracle if I get anything else done in a day :) this weeks goal: find time to squeeze in a batch of lavender goat soap, and if I'm really lucky, I can fit in another batch of maybe unscented, or even get a little crazy, and make swirls! Hope everyone had a good Easter!

Busy day planned today. We now have 2 goat kids, and expect several more this week. Going to try to get a batch of lavender goat milk soap made too. But first, have to get bottles ready! Have a good day everybody! :)

Our fist baby (who is now spoken for, and been named Chance) is doing great. His momma, however, I think has mastitis, again. She got it right after freshening last year as well. A round of antibiotics cleared everything up and she was just fine the rest of the year. I hope we have another doe "pop" soon, so I can keep chance on real milk, not replacer.

Our first goat finally delivered yesterday. A healthy little boy. So excited to have new goats, and I can almost taste the milk, cheese, and yogurt already!

Spring! Well, maybe not yet, but we are tired of waiting, so This week we have all our new spring fragrances ( lavender, smokey patchouli & others), and new glycerin creations ( bug buttons, "pet" soap (not soap for your pet) and more!). See you tomorrow, at the museum, 8- 12 :)

We are sold out of Roses! Thanks to everyone who ordered! This was a fun soap to make. They will be back for Mother's Day.

The rose preorders are a huge success. Thanks everyone for your support! Roses are available through Valentines day, if anyone still needs to order. On a farm note: with the days getting (slowly) longer the chickens have started producing! Saturday we should have a few dozen eggs available! Come see us at the market at the benson museum :)

Busy soaping week. Making big batches of all the regulars, and new fragrances for sping! The much requested lavender, and a smokey patchouli , plus ginger lime, and a few others.
Also, getting started on all kinds of fun glycerin soap for all occasions and holidays. I can't wait for spring!
