The smoke rings in the BBQ were a thing of beauty. Nice rotating selection of beers. The catfish was also recommend.

Decent place.
Average prices,
I ordered a steak well done and they didn't deliver, just had it taken off.

The place is kinda expensive on the other hand based off of what we got the food is really good!! The only thing that I got that wasn't that great was the potato salad. The potato salad wasn't nasty, I was expecting better coming from a restaurant, it tasted like the cook made it for the very first time and knew that they could do better the next time. The baked beans are the best baked beans I've had in a long long time. All the sauces were extra tasty!! Give this place a shot.

We were staying at Massanutten Resorts close by and came across this gem. We had the Sunday all-you-can-eat Beef brisket and Pulled pork special for $14.99. The beef brisket is AMAZING. They make everything home made, including their delicious bread to start-WOW!
Try to get Jimmy as your waiter, super friendly and attentive. A great experience all around.report this review -

I can't say enough amazing things about the service and experience I had with Hank's Catering! The whole process from inquiry to taste testing to our wedding day services was absolutely tremendous! So affordable and the quality of food was out of this world. My guest are still talking about how amazing the food was from our Sept. 10th wedding. I highly recommend them! Thank you Matt and our servers for making our wedding day absolutely wonderful! Blessings!

Went on a Tuesday night because most of the resturaunts in Massanutten are closed. Pleasantly surprised by the armoaphere, the drinks and bartender are awesome. The food was so good, you could tell it was handmade to order. BRISKET WAS AMAZING! They had local craft beers and cocktails as well. Delicious!!!! Will go again for sure

Our favorite BBQ dinner place when in the area. Love the brisket and dry rub ribs. A quartet of sauces to enhance your food. Try the Whiskey bbq sauce on the fries. Friendly and attentive service. Kids menu.

I visited Hank's with my children and parents while staying at Massanutten. The food was excellent and exceeded all of our expectations. The service was good, but the food was the real star here. Highly recommend this spot.

We live in MA and were staying at Massanutten Resorts during Easter of 2017 and wanted to have Easter dinner catered at our resort. I decided to call and place an order from this place. The staff was so accommodating , friendly and so helpful.. The food was delicious and plenty of it. It was a pickup order for Sunday and everything was ready on time. We are planning another trip in Oct.and will order from them again for a Sunday dinner for my family that lives in Madison . We had family and friends who thoroughly enjoyed the food. Thank you all kindly and will have you all cater that dinner also. God Bless each one of you and thank you kindly.

Not impressed. We got the ribs for two. $20 each. The first set of ribs was not even warm. Sent them back. The second set was tender, not hot, but dry, very dry. A lot of hype for this place for average food. The one side of asparagus maybe had nine scraggly pieces. The service was very good, our waitress tried to fix any issue she could. The bread was basic white and tasteless

I got the 8once steak w/fries. Requested the steak med rare. When i recieved my food i immediately bit into my steak and it cold! I told the waitress and she took the steak back. They sent me the same steak back that was now medium well. On top of that my fries were now cold. I didn't even bother i was just hungry. Over paid $20 for steak and fries that was not cooked properly. The restaurant inside is nice, Probably the only thing going for it. Does not justify over charging for crap food

Easily the best barbecue for miles around. Pleasant staff, good service and a good selection of beer, hot sauces and BBQ dishes. The ambiance is low key and quiet enough to hear your dinner conversation. All of the food is home made and worth every penny.

Love thus place! Family favorite. We stop here on every trip to Massanutten Resort. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and great BBQ/southern cuisine. Especially recommend the shrimp and cheese grits, beef brisket, and bourbon chocolate chip pie. 5-stars!

Went to Hanks for an early take-out dinner. I ordered the ribs and brisket from the gluten free menu with greens and potato salad plus an order of pulled pork from the regular menu with greens.
The pulled pork was good. It was moist with lots of flavor. The ribs and brisket, on the other hand, were disappointing. The ribs were dry, hard, and cold with not much flavor. It was as though they had been sitting waiting. Don't know if BQ sauce would have helped them. The brisket was tough and had some flavor.
The best were the red potatoes salad and greens.report this review -

Wonderful experience! Staff was gracious and very accommodating. Jesse was conscientious and knowledgeable as was the rest of the staff. Made great suggestions and really helped us to pick something that my son, who has severe allergies, could eat. It was farm to table, which I didn't expect. For the prices, you just can't beat it. Would highly recommend to anyone. Food was great! Hospitality was the icing on the cake!
