I highly recommend Hands On Moving for your moving needs. We relocated from Maryland to Connecticut driving our own truck rental and needed unloading assistance with two 26’ truck loads, one with household goods and the other with heavy industrial equipment. Xzavier estimated our jobs quickly with excellent communication, even FaceTiming me to accurately assess the type of heavy equipment in question. The crew of HOM called prior to arrival, was on time, and worked very efficiently, taking care to unload all of our goods to our satisfaction. Both estimates were spot on with both final charges being very fair. We are very satisfied with Hands On Moving services and will definitely use them again when needed.

I’ve used several different moving companies over the past couple of years, but Hands on Moving is definitely the best. From start to finish, I had the best, most efficient service, from individuals who truly care about what they do. Moving day was extremely smooth and efficient, and I was very grateful for that. We were refinishing our floors and had hired another moving company (not Hands on Moving) to move furniture out of the house. It was a terrible experience, items damaged and they were so careless. We decided to try a new company to bring furniture back in. THANK GOODNESS and what a relief that we found Hands on Moving. The woman in the office was AMAZING, courteous, organized, so helpful, calming my fears. The communication and confirmation process is very well done. Devon and Eli were our movers, they came on time, worked so hard, and I could not have been happier. Our furniture was super, super heavy and challenging and they were remarkable. So careful and such hard workers and great guys. I would hire them back in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything!

Do not use these movers. I have moved multiple times over the last several years and have never had such a terrible experience. I had movers move and store my belongings and the items were not treated with care and thoughtfulness. Most shockingly no one at the company apologized for the damages until I mentioned the lack of concern was disheartening. Multiple items were broken (dishes, glasses, etc) and damaged (Metal plate on peloton entirely dented, clothing with deep wrinkles) and missing (very expensive ski rack somehow got lost in storage). If you want to see your items in the state they were removed from your presence (or even at all) I would not use these movers. Also be warned that the standard insurance provided for the move is deeply insufficient for replacement of items.
