Standard Hampton Inn. Relatively new, breakfast was good, eggs were standard spongy fare. Coffee was much better than expected, staff was friendly and room was very clean. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Very clean. Fairly newly updated rooms. Modern and comfortable. Free breakfast was fresh and had plenty of choice. The coffee was a bit weak but fresh.

The thing I liked best about this place compared to every other hotel was the snack shop, located behind around the corner behind the front desk. It was quite well stocked. Otherwise it's your normal everyday hotel. The breakfast left me a bit underwhelmed. Also, going in and out of the doorways on the side and the back of the hotel, one is constantly assaulted by smoke from the nearby ashtrays. But overall not a bad place.

Facilty is clean. Upon entry in hotel, there is a strange smellpropane/gas, must?just not sure. Smell lingers in elevator. However on the 5th floor it is fine. Rooms smell fine. Room: clean, spacious, AC is great, amenities/towels are good, some of the outlets don't work (near desk/TV), Outlet covers on wall by desk are broken and old yellow covers-a big contrast to the overall room image. Refridge/Microwave clean. Beds Beds are a little hard. I thought it was just me, but everyone in my group was groaning from stiff/painful backs the next morning. This was the only disappointing part for us. However, if you like firm beds, this is for you. BreakfastOne of the best I have ever had. Eggs, sausage, oatmeal, name brand single boxes of cereal, fresh cut fruit, self made waffles with several toppings, juice, milk, fresh fruit, etc. Presentation is efficient. Good array of coffees, liquid creamers. Evenings, free single packages cookies. There are some areas that you can see that need repair (such as edge of peeling wallpaper), but not unless you look for it. Overall clean and decent facility.

Service was great. Missed the cookies that greeted me at all the other Hampton's my family and I stay at.

The room was clean. Breakfast was well done standard hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly, attentive, and courteous. Grandmother staying in another room left before us, and when the staff found something she'd left behind, they called us so we could pick it up for her.

The room we stayed in need more cleaning. The toilet area smelled. A chair in sleeping area had food on it. Could have been easily wiped off by house keeping. Could not close my curtains at night. Something was wrong with the curtain track. Supervisor need to check on staff to make sure house keeping is cleaning the rooms properly and thoroughly

Elevators were filthy. TV was in an awkward position to watch from bed. Being in 'walking distance' from downtown was a stretch. Serviceable if you aren't interested in anything but a bed.

My girls like to swim. They don't open the pool until 10 so there's not enough time for a dip before checkout. That's not hospitality. Thankfully, I called reception before check-in so i had time to switch my reservation to the Comfort Inn & Suites in the shopping district of Florence. Their pool area opens at 6am, is nicer, rooms are comfy, breakfast was delicious and I saved like 40 bucks.

Rooms are being renovated but the room I stayed in was not renovated. Saw a bug in a bathroom. Tile at bottom of vanity came off. Front desk people not.extremely friendly

The staff were overly gracious. The room was actually cool upon entering which was great in the middle of summer. Room was clean and stocked. The breakfast was really good and there were two ladies there to help with any needs. Overall, a great place for a good price.

Only gave one star cause I had no choice. Rooms are nasty dusty hair in beds crumbs in corners carpets burnt up from cigs bathroom is only decent thing!! General manager Vicki attitude is very ugly just like the room they gave me Refuse to give refund after I refused to stay Hampton inn and suites will never get my money again!!! Glad it's under construction it's really needed!!!! These ratings people are giving must like staying in nasty motels cause this was worse then that!!!

We stayed at this place to get out of town for a couple of days before Christmas. It is the best I have stayed in on the many trips I have taken to different places. Everything worked in the room and I could not find one thing to complain about. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be sure you are taken care of. Also, the breakfast is the best of any place we have stayed.
We ate at several nice restaurants and visited attractions and the location was perfect.report this review
