What an incredible experience! The room was amazing, very spacious and luxurious. Upon entry it was very clean, and the view of the beach was gorgeous!! I will definitely keep this hotel at the top of my list for any stay in Destin.
My wife and I came here on vacation in December and while the weather want great while we were there this hotel and it's staff were very helpful and friendly. Their recommendations on where to eat and what to visit were key in making this a vacation to remember. Their location is a short walk to the beach and their families were very clean and updated. Lobby always had hot tea and coffee available to guests. My one complaint would be that their parking lot was not the easiest to pull into by car but if the weather is nice you should be able to walk where you want to go.
Me and my boyfriend stayed here back in late March, early April it was an amazing experience. The front desk was friendly! We loved it here, the strip that its on really makes it feel like a vacation! We’ll be staying here every time we return to Destin.
Hampton Inn & suit an awesome place to stay. The front desk clerk was very nice. The room was very clean with the ac on. I highly recommend anyone to stay.. Keep up the awesome work! I will be back this summer.
Clean and modern room. Very helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. It was too cold to experience the pool, but it looks beautiful from our room. The room we stayed in had a couch executive desk and kitchenette. It also had full cable that was very responsive to the remote. The location was off 98 which is the main drag through the area and fairly closely located too many restaurants. Most of the entertainment venues were about 8 minutes away. I would consider this more of a business Hotel but a budget-minded traveler would find it very enjoyable. Plus I'd like to also add that the bed was amazing.
Out of all the Hampton Inn & Suites I've stayed in, by far this one was the best. Top notch customer service. Friendly staff. Cleanliness. And the property amenities were superb. I'm a cigar smoker and this location has a patio with a huge grotto and plenty additional umbrella tables to choose from. The only reason I don't rate it 5 stars is the coffee pot is in the restroom. I have a huge pet peeve about food or food products in the latrine. Yuck! But when in Destin; this location will be my first choice from here on out.
Tremendous value and great service. The staff at this property knows what hospitality means. They are very welcoming and accommodating to your needs. Clean, updated rooms with modern contemporary styling. 3 minute walk to the beach and close proximity to every possible cuisine. I would like to especially thank our host Hampton Inn & Suites associate - Tereta!
Nice Hampton Inn and Suites close to a lot of things. Beach access is a block+ down (next to Back Porch but signs read "Private Property"...ignore and walk through). Nice hot breakfast, clean facilities, excellent pool with playful water feature, fresh cookies available throughout stay, and fresh variety of coffee and teas available as well. In retrospect I would not have paid the extra for the "Gulf View" room. It was a view of a palm tree and a sliver of a view through it. Cheapest room would be the best bet. Wish they had better beach access. We've stayed a few times at Summer Place which is right across 98, and only $130 per night with a. Ice breakfast and a better view of the gulf, but it's a roll of the dice I guess. We'll probably stay there or in a condo for future visits.
Good location, close to great dining, shopping, and attractions. Getting to the beach was a bit of a walk (about 300 yards), but the public access facilities were excellent and the walk was on a nice brick pacer path. The hotel was immaculate. We had a great stay.
This is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. It is in walking distance to the beach and driving distance to great food & the harbour boardwalk. The breakfast was hot and tasted good for a quick meal that's worked into the price of a cozy room. The shower was nice and warm with great water pressure. Included in the pleasant stay was a welcoming pool that was clean and well kept. This place is good for both families and honeymooners. Business guests will enjoy the price and WiFi but not the noise level of children running down the hall.
Tiny tiny rooms for $385. At check in when my son asked the desk for hot chocolate packets because they were out, and my wife needed got water for tea they told my son and that they only replenish drinks once a day at 5am and there was nothing they could do about the drinks. The next day at 1pm my son watched as the last hour chocolate pack was used... He didn't even ask for another pack then either, he knew what the answer would be. The power went out at 2am. I called down to the desk and they did it happens allot, just last week in fact. The three of us couldn't watch tv or use internet or anything. The next morning they charged my credit card $385 when at check in I paid by other means. I only caught it because I happened to check my email that morning and found a receipt. They blamed the power outage.
Absolutely loved this hotel! It was a last minute booking to celebrate our anniversary and I'm so glad we did it. The location is great...just walk a few minutes to get to the beach...plus it's super close to a beachfront restaurant! The pool was amazing. Staff was SO sweet and accommodating! We will be back for sure!
My wife wanted a special beach getaway for her birthday weekend. She used her remaining Hilton Honors points to book a room at this Hampton and was assured that we'd have a room with a view of the Gulf. Upon arrival, we couldn't help but notice that this 2-story hotel isn't even on the beach, and the room we were given looked out upon the condos that actually were. Front desk was polite but apparently limited in their ability to do anything better. So we called the Hilton Diamond member line and, tho it took almost an hour of being put on hold repeatedly, we were moved to the Hilton Sandestin. WAY nice--given a suite overlooking beach, plus comped for breakfast for each of our 3-days stay and for beach chair, umbrella setup.
Very nice and clean Hampton. Stayed in a queen suite and it had plenty of room for our family of 5. Zero entry pool is great for kids. Beach access is a short walk down the road.
The only positive I have is the staff. The woman at the front desk was awesome and extremely personable.
As far as negatives...the room smelled musky and moldy. There were stains on the mattress. Our room keys kept not working in most of the doors. Their elevator is very clearly broken, however they are still letting people use it. My husband and I went to go swimming and found beer cans floating in the pool and a dildo/sex toy on the floor of the pool. I alerted the front desk immediately about two hours ago and still not much has been done. They really didn't seem very concerned, which was very disconcerting. We have a poolside view and have watched several people go swimming with no one attempting to clean their pool. Extremely disappointing stay.
