Love it here. Esp winter when it's slow and my dog can have some fun at the beach! But please, if you bring your dog down to the beach, please please pick up your dogs poop. They're are doggie poop bags and trash cans all along the blvd.
Wow is this place great! We were right on the jetty but close to all Hampton Beach has to offer. Everyone around us was friendly and the staff was very helpful and kindI can't wait to go back next year if its not already booked.
Hampton Beach has really come a long way since the fire that destroyed structures long ago. I am sad to see certain hotels shutting down because I had a really great experience at one of them when I needed a getaway to escape stress.Davis Subs on C Street was kind enough to accommodate me with making me a salad instead of a sub because I'm allergic to gluten. Seems like a fun place to work during the summer
Love Hampton Beach and have been going for the past 55 years. It gets crazy busy and crowded in the summer but it's a fun place with plenty to do, lots of restaurants, shops, cafes and specialty shops for candy (salt water taffy, fudge and more), sandwiches, seafood, fried dough and ice cream to name a few. Wonderful place to go in the fall; it's not as hot and there are far less people. Some stores and restaurants are open through October 31st. Parking on Ocean Boulevard is $1/hour in the month of October but free after 5pm.
Absolutely love this place. The best New England beach that I have had the chance to visit. Amazing live music, along with varying activities during the summer. Not to mention the boardwalk. There is a massive amount of restaurants on the street, but by far the best is the Boardwalk Inn. It has great food for a decent price.
My son, Josh, and his girlfriend Molly, took me to the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival. I, we, had a wonderful time. It was the first time I had been to Hampton Beach in a very long time. And the only time I had been to the Seafood Festival. I hope I get to go again next year. It was a blast!!
$15 Charge to park. VERY crowded especially during high tide even during a weekday. Beach itself was very nice. Not too rocky and no seaweed. Long walk out before the water gets deep. They have public bathrooms and changing rooms. I didn't see a shower or even a bubbler to get a drink. Just concession stand.
First ever visit, I found parking to be sufficient, but we did arrive during non peak hours. Parking had a fee of course, we settled for the $20 and a short walk. The beach was spacious and seemed clean enough. Bathroom facilities were central. If you needed facilities while on one of the far ends I'm not sure what the options would have been. I would definitely return and explore the shopping, carnival rides area.
This beach is fun to visit. The water is clean and there are hardly ever any rocks to step on. Once a year they have sand sculptures that are so incredible you can't believe they are made from sand! Lots of beach front stores and arcades. Restaurants serve great food. Some night life to listen to bands. Fireworks on certain nights. And outdoor entertainment on the boardwalk.
This is the first time in many years that I have been up here. Had the best time. Food great! Drinking at Millie's great! And they have a new owner. Still a very friendly place. Can't wait to go back again next weekend..lol
Nice clean beach along a city that had its hours of glory. The campground is convenient, but essentially just a glorified parking with no trees.
This is fun beach, even in off seson. I always have fun here, even if I'm just walking around.
It's new hampshires only beach. Been going for 25 years, still finding new things to see and do. Well maintained. Water is cold but you're in new England what do you expect. The bathrooms are the nicest public bathrooms I've ever used
Vast expanse of sand great for walks or hanging around. Surrounding area is fun but is a bit gritty and carnival like. In the winter becomes a bit vacant and crowds are more rough cut.
Great placeFor locals until tourism season. Tourist ruin the beach with trash and fighting. But, all in all great place for family and dates. Sometimes in the summer it can be extremely over crowded due to the large number of tourists and locals cohabitating in a sizable area of beach front. The free concerts and food that isn't too over priced is good as well.
