One of Emporia's great parks that is well maintained. New playground for the kids and picnic tables and shelter houses.

Nice place for young kids, disc golf baskets, bathrooms ( closed in winter), and a couple of shelters. Used the bridge and the rock wall thing for my wedding.

Small but beautiful park that I've enjoyed since I was a child. Gentle rolling hills and plenty of large beautiful old trees. A brand new playground for kids and a nice sized shelter for parties and gatherings. It also had 9 hole disc golf course that's not difficult so it's perfect for us beginners. Overall A very nice and well kept park!

I didn't visit the shelter exactly although I did notice an updated playground for the kids. I was there playing disc golf. Hammond has a 9 hole course with plenty of trees. Many of the holes are pretty short for a great opportunity for aces.

Hammond Park has disc golf, a modern play ground, 2 cute bridges, restrooms, a large field, and a powered shelter building with several picnic tables.

The playground has just been redone. It's extremely clean, and my kids just love the new playground. There's plenty of shade to relax under from the park's many trees! Love it!
