Went for a nice lunch. The pan roasted crab cake on a bed of basmati rice with sauteed spinach and remoulade was on point! Very tasty, perfect portion size; the atmosphere was light and warm. Check it out!

Hamilton's is my go-to place for a business lunch on the downtown mall. The menu has enough choices to satisfy most diners, without creating an epic struggle to get an order in. The food is prepared well and the staff are attentive without being an interruption.

I usually wind up ordering the vegetarian blue-plate because it usually has something interesting on it any given day.

Friendly service. Food was fantastic, but the portions were smaller than I expected, and a bit pricey. Booths fill up quickly, so reserve ahead of time.

Very attentive staff, excellent cocktails and wonderful food. I had the blue plate which is vegetarian and it was amazing. It is a bit pricey but the portion size is perfect and its worth every cent.

The food here is incredible and the staff very attentive. This is a Charlottesville staple. I highly recommend it, specially for lunch when the menu is not as expensive.

Loved sitting outside on such a gorgeous evening. Our waitress was wonderful - I feel awful that I didn't catch her name. Portions were perfect and the Gearhart chocolates were a nice way to round out the evening. Thanks for a great night!

We've gone there for special occasions for many years. The vegetarian platter is amazing. The food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Classic and upscale atmosphere but you can also sit outside on the downtown mall and people watch.

Great Southern slant on traditional and modern fare. Our server was very friendly without being obtrusive. We went for brunch, and the bloody mary was remarkably good.

Our experience at this restaurant was absolutely the worst service we have ever had. We waited 40 minutes for a glass of wine and appetizer that was sorry. We waited another 30 minutes for our main entree. I really don't know how this place stays in business. Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had will never go back n don't recommend. The people behind us had the same experience.

I arrived one fair weathered eve and I did have to wait for a table outside. I sat myself as i normally do in my own house. They didn't ask me to move but brought me shade and cocktails. My devilishly good looking server, Nick, spared no expense at our dining experience. He treated us as if we were the only ones there [in which we were.] we got the crab cakes. How delectable. I've never seen such yellow in crab before. It was like we were in Mexico again, on our honeymoon. To finish it up we were serenaded by the head chef, Curtis, who told us next time is on the house. He also told us its not his house. I will be back again, tomorrow. Stay classy San Diego.
