A comprehensive grounding of European and American decorative arts and design history complemented with a consideration of non-Western art. In addition to theoretical and contextual studies, academic skills are built through courses that focus on furniture, textiles, interiors, design, ceramics, glass, costume, craft, and metalwork. Our students move on to become curators, historians, academicians, conservators, and specialists in the field of decorative arts.
