My husband and I adopted our little Roxie two weeks ago and couldn't be happier. The staff was very helpful answering our questions, since we haven't had a pet in 15 years and felt a little rusty. A short time later they called to see how things were working out and offer suggestions. The facility was very clean, as were the animals and each staff member was obviously an animal lover. If you are thinking of adopting a pet, we highly recommend this facility.

Excellent and hassle free. I adopted two wonderful dogs from here. First dog was so well mannered and already housebroken. I brought him back to pick my second dog, the staff really made sure they would get along, as well as making sure my kids would be safe. Both dogs are potty trained, I recommend because they clearly really care for each animal.

Saw a dog on their website which was exactly the kind of dog I had been looking for. I was ecstatic and when I went to see her, she was absolutely perfect for me. Yet, then I was made aware of the fact that because I am 20, not 21, I could not adopt. How stupid!!!!! They wouldn't even allow me to put a deposit down on her, so she would be safe until my boyfriend could come and get her for me. I left in tears, absolutely heartbroken. I have struggled with severe depression for over half a decade, and I had finally come to a place in life where I was comfortable and committed to getting a dog. I make over 35k a year, so I am not a broke college kid who won't be able to afford to spoil their pet.
The staff had very little pity 👎👎👎👎👎

This humane society is definitely somewhere I'm going to devote most of my time to. The people are sweet, the animals you gotta love and the overall atmosphere is what defines this place

We had the best adoption experience at Gold Coast Humane Society. The staff brought our new pet to us to walk. He had worked there for 13 years. He was very helpful. Everyone at the desk was wonderful. They explained everything about adopting and even gave us certificates on training and veterinarian service. Our new dog is a precious family member now and we feel Gold Coast Humane Society is too.

I had a wonderful experience, everyone was caring and wecoming. They all went out of their way to help me find my new BFF. I found exactly what I was looking for in Peewee, now named Cooper, and we love him to death. He is very shy. He is coming around slowly, and apart from liking to find dark places to hide, loves to be cuddled. He has spent the past week being held and loves it. I thank you all at Gulf Coast Humane Society

We are fostering a 🐕, they were great with setting everything up and paperwork went quick! While fostering they also pay for their food and medical, if you cant afford to adopt please foster and give them a loving home while waiting to be adopted!

Clean, with amazing and dedicated staff and volunteers. Smells much cleaner than any other shelter we have visited. We recommend that you adopt, don't shop
