New location is great and I love how they buy used games now. The rental side of things seems interesting as well, where you can buy the game if you ended up liking it, but I haven't tried it yet.

Highly curated selection of board games and comics, plus tons of fun nick-nacks and apparel. They also host plenty of community game nights: D&D, PFS, MTG, etc. Awesome place. And they have a full service cafe!

The staff are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The owners are passionate about their business and the various gaming groups that have been founded and grown here house the best the local gaming community has to offer. The best local game/comic shop.

This place is awesome! Not only is the cafe inside amazing, but the store has an amazing selection. My favorite part is that you can play games there for FREE to see which you enjoy so that you don’t buy a game with no idea of what it is. The staff is amazingly friendly and kind and I look forward going there every week for awesome events!

I had been to Gryphon's old location several times and always had a great experience. Their new home is absolutely beautiful and gives this great store room to stretch their legs.

I was looking for a gift for a friend, and one of the employees overheard me and offered several great options, going out of her way to make sure I was well taken care of. Support your local stores, folks!

A great selection of comics, with a more selective range of Tabletop game supplies. They used to also carry more merchandise and collectibles, but have unfortunately drifted away from that in recent years, which is why I went down a star. They still carry some things, but not nearly as much as they used to. Still a nice shop.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the gaming community is top notch. I play Magic here frequently and there's always Standard, Modern, and Draft events to be played on Fridays and Mondays, with a healthy amount of players for every format. They also run Pokemon events that are very popular on the weekends, have a great selection of comics and tabletop games, and a knowledgeable staff to back it all up.

We really love the Gryphon. We visited the old shop on College, so when they told us they were moving and opening a cafe, we were skeptical. But it's so great! Our kids are into Pokemon and we all love board games Gryphon has a wonderful and friendly Pokemon trading/tournament every Sunday. The cafe is modest but has those perfect gaming munchies (danishes, nachos, hot dogs, boba, etc.) with reasonable pricing. The best part of Gryphon Games and comics is that is is so friendly and community centered. The staff is nice and balanced between men and women; all very knowledgable and helpful. Oh, and they were at Comic-Con too! Sure, you could save a couple of bucks shopping at the big box or online stores, but this is a local store at it's best: community centered, lively and full of nerdy fun.

There are some features common to top-shelf comic-and-game shops that Gryphon could still grow into, but they've been doing so (for example: a beefy used-game section, which they're busy building). But it's still an excellent place in so many ways. It has chill-space, gaming space, loads of shopping-space, and it's run in a clean, professional manner by helpful people. Want a freshly-made fruit smoothie delivered to your gaming table while you bounce the dice? Welcome home.

The selection of tabletop RPGs is focused on the top sellers (leaving those with broad gaming interests to shop online or head down to Denver for shopping trips), but their selection of board and card games is broad, and their comics selection seems pretty complete. One of the best of the many excellent nerd meccas in Fort Collins.

Average priced comics and good selection but make sure you check amazon for better pricing on games and figures. Comics are comics but they're much higher on everything else.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE DURING WEEKENDS OR NIGHTS!!!
Be forewarned, if you go on the weekend there is a dive bar right next door and the drunks sit out there and talk trash and yell at patrons as they go in and out of the comic store. I've seen it multiple times on multiple days. Its nice having a larger location but being surrounded by a bar on one side and a liquor store on the other side makes you wonder how well they thought the move through.

Comfortable game shop that offers coffee, food (baked goods and snacks), tables (for games and tournaments), and a large selection of board games, miniatures, trading card games, comics, and toys/collectibles. They offer a board game rental program so you can try out a game before buying. It costs 10% of what the game does but that 10% will go towards it if you decide to purchase. It is a good place to hangout with friends, play games, and drink coffee.

Want a tabletop RPG? Well It's easy to buy those online, or a few blocks away at Haunted, where there's a better selection. And they carry the most obvious basics here at Gryphon, like D&D.

This place will blow you away! The staff are super friendly and provide real knowledge of products, but on the same hand will tell you if they don't know they won't lie about it. Very appreciated. The prices are fair the coffee is good. You have to visit this place if you are a nerd in Fort Collins or if you are passing through!

This is a great place to be. The people here are wonderful and so hospitable. Their knowledge of everything they sell from games to comics to merchandise is NOTHING LESS than Top Knotch! James in particular is one of the nicest people I have the honor of getting knowing. They have treated my own family like it was their own. I will not buy from anyone else then them when it comes to comics and games. If your new to this area try them out, I promise you Can't go wrong! OH and try the movie nights with them, it's a blast!
