absolutely awful experiences with my loan. The website lacks any information on my account besides my previous payments. There is no total of what I have paid or how much I still owe on the loan. When I call customer service it takes at least 15 minutes to get through to someone. We had a huge problem with them when it came to approving a check through insurance, to the point where it delayed receiving my car from the auto body shop. Choose a different credit union if you have the chance.
Just got loan from them.
Excellent customer service and thanks for believing us to buy our dream car.
God bless you all

The worst customer loan department!! WE have a business car loan through these guys and they are rude, uncooperative, and hung up on us twice over the phone when inquiring about our loan payoff amount when we asked them to hold a minute while gathering information. Their response was - NO, we can't hold *click!!! WTH? The woman "Kim" is extremely rude. Will not be going back for a loan from them.
Most of the staff in this bank is not professional, and some have a big attitude problem. im trying to get someone there to call me back about a home loan And three times with no success. It's been 5 fays now and not a call back after leaving mssgs. Every time it's ooo we are very busy sir. Like how busy are you ? Or they like to put people off. Got a truck loan from here and almost paid off , the last they will see my business
I wish ZERO stars was an option, because that's what I would give. I have an atv loan through Greenwood. I recently had an accident, and some damage was done to my bike. I have insurance through Progressive. My insurance cut me a check for the repairs and said I can do the repairs myself or take it to a licensed shop. I am a mechanic, so I didn't see the need to send it elsewhere. The manager at Greenwood said he wouldn't sign off on the check, and there was nothing I can do about it. I told him the shop will probably total the bike, and I wouldn't have a loan anymore. His response was, "I don't care. We'll just write it off as a loss and move on with business as usual." Wow, I guess I learned the hard way that's how they treat customers, and after reading all these negative reviews, I'm not surprised. I told him that there are about 3000 people in my atv club, and we have events every weekend from now till the end of Fall. I always see their booth at the events trying to get people to sign up. I'll be sure to stand right there next to their booth handing out a screenshot of all these negative comments on a flyer, a billboard, a t-shirt or whatever else, and I'll post every week in our private FB page not to use Greenwood Credit Union. These OHRV vehicles aren't cheap, and most families don't buy just one. Good luck getting any more business from the ATV/UTV community in Western Ma.
I strongly advise against doing business with them. My father had a loan with them, which he was having difficulty paying (he was behind a couple months). He passed away two weeks ago, and we have been trying to get his estate sorted and an executor assigned to handle payment of his debts. Where all other creditors I have dealt with have been very polite, and have agreed to freeze late-payments and interest charges for the duration of the administration of the estate, this particular creditor has constantly harassed me every day since I notified them of my father's passing. They are threatening to repossess the item he had a loan for if I do not make payments out of my personal wallet. Trying to reason with the woman on the phone was like trying to reason with a robot.
I'm guessing they are probably fine if your payments are on time, but be warned.
A primitive credit union lacking accurate online banking mixed with poor customer service. If your looking for a bank that will take your needs seriously and promptly, this not the place for you.
My experience has been awful. I received a car loan at a great rate through them, but that's where all the smiles stopped. I wish I could give it 0 starts. The bank seems to have put up every barrier there is to be able to 1) know how much is left on the loan 2) how much a payment is supposed to be 3) when the payment is due and 4) actually make payments. They offered to charge me extra money (>$3) each month to send me bills, and was never able to access my loan information online to setup automatic payments and reminders because it was so complicated. I have called them more times to gain access to my account than cumulative minutes in my account. I have worked with several other banks and had other loans so I know what is should be like; this is by far the worst experience. I can't wait to finish the loan and be done with them. I truly wish I had sucked it up and paid a mildly higher rate to work with a bank that is user friendly.
